Hi, so I have an account on Ao3(Snappyturtle6921)and posted a fanfiction on there (it was treebros). I want to continue writing fanfics but don’t have any inspiration. (2/2)I ADORE animals and definitely plan of doing something with them for a career. I like to play volleyball as a hobby but that’s the only sport I like. I like spending time with friends but prefer to be alone sometimes. I am a huge bookworm and kinda a geek/nerd. I love plants and want to live in a big city like new york or boston. Tsukishima is definitely a cat person and nobody can change my mind. He will bond with your cats when you’re not looking and he will love them so much. And they will love him too. Not to mention that Tsukki is an animal person so… you and he would nerd out about animals together and have a great time with it, whether it’s cats or dinosaurs!

Along that same line, Tsukishima would 100% support you having an animal based career because the second best thing to animals is funny stories about animals in his opinion. A good funny story about any sort of animal is one of those things that will actually make Tsukishima laugh genuinely with no snark or malice behind the laughter. Just pure amusement.

Tsukishima would definitely respect your reservedness and be careful not to pry too much about super personal things in your life. He’s just fine with waiting until you’re ready to share with him. On that note, he also would definitely respect that sometimes you just want to be alone and give you your space without hesitation. Hell, he’s the same way so while you take your you time he’ll take some personal time too until you’re ready to be around people again.

That being said, once you are comfortable around each other, the sass. Would not stop. Each other? Yes. All the sass. That kid trying to bully your friend? Yes. Destroy him. Hinata or Kageyama? Yes. Roast their lives. That dude that tried to hit on you? He died from the sass. You guys put together are a force to be reckoned with. #powercouple.

Also, if you thought that Tanaka and Nishinoya were terrifying protecting Kiyoko? Tsukishima is on a whole other level. If you look even the slightest bit uncomfortable in a situation with another guy (or girl), Tsukishima has this habit of materializing behind you (how does he move so fast without being heard or seen??), effectively looming over the person who is bothering you and casting the most terrifying look at them a human being can make and they just. Dissolve in a puddle of fear.

Tsukishima is so down to travel with you?? Like, this boy loves travelling more than anyone would expect. If you ask him to travel with you he will say yes with no hesitation and, well, if you end up skyping all of your friends and his friends and passively bragging that you get to travel while they’re all stuck at home, who can tell you no?

You’re both nerds, so when nobody else is around you just take turns nerding out about your respective passions. It’s a judgment free zone when it’s just you guys, but as soon as you’re around people all bets are off and the teasing and sassing can begin.

He secretly admires your passion and commitment to the things that you love and actively takes an interest in your hobbies. If you’re okay with it, he likes to watch you draw, and is always totally cool with just being in the same room reading different books. You guys can often be found in one of your back yards, bumping a volleyball and casually talking about how your days were.

P.S.: I decided not to add it as a primary reason, but if you think that Tsukishima will ever refrain from making fun of you for being shorter than him you are just. Not Correct. Unless you really really have an issue with it Tsukishima will tease you about your height because he is a GIANT and that is what giants do

A 1,000+ word fic took me months mostly because of sometimes it takes a while to get motivated.

I've been following the comments/kudos/entitlement thing, and wanted to chime in. (Anon because I'm not on tumblr! Soz! But still a real person, with real feelings. :) ) A question for writers: how long, on average, do you spend writing a chapter? We keep saying "we work hard, we value feedback!" but maybe it's not clear _how_ hard? For e.g., I recently posted a 6k chapter that took 57.2 hours to write and edit. I track my time using productivity software, b/c I'm weird like that. :)

This is in reference to posts that were on the blog back in May, but the question is still a good one. How long does it take you to write? And maybe add in what kind of writing you do?

For me, I can write 1K in an hour or less, but my stuff is very dialogue-based and comedic. I don’t do a lot of scene description and the few times I’ve attempted to write action scenes took me about 5x as long as my usual :)
