I've got nothing against trans headcanons obviously but with Chihiro it's actually so important that he wasn't a girl and saying he's trans takes away an important part of his character.

Like he pretended to be a girl so that people wouldn't bully him for being girly, he didn't dress as a girl because he wasn't a boy. He even said he wanted to stop pretending, he wanted to be more masculine.

Not everyone that dresses feminine is a girl, he literally said he isn't and doesn't want to be a girl. It's so common to go "chihiro pretended to be a girl because chihiro IS a trans girl!" but doing that erases a really important part of chihiro's life, backstory and death

In the same scene we find out Chihiro's a dude we find out why and how he feels about it. You can literally watch half of that one episode of the anime and it's obvious, I don't get how you can play the entire game and still think he's a girl?

I'm usually fine with trans hcs, some of them are pretty good and I fully support the trans community but Chihiro is one of like two characters that really wouldn't make sense

I joined the danganronpa fandom in 2021, stayed for a year and then thought ab it nearly every day and TADA I'm back and this time I have tumblr and a slightly better attention span!!

never underestimate the power of a teenager and the fandom they found in their tweens that altered their brain chemistry that they still think abt every day

Time to rewatch danganronpa 3 despair arc and skip over all the sad parts! (Spoilers ahead) Wdym Chiaki died? Wrong! She's on vacation! Student council? Never heard of them!

I completely understand the point of the anime and plan on talking ab the sad parts but for now I chose to focus on the silly lil class activities instead <3
