Ume slowly sat up in her bed, rubbing her eyes in the process . The lack of warmth next to her woke her from her slumber. She huffed in frustration before throwing the covers off of her figure, slithering out of bed.

When walking down the stairs she freezed in her tracks, the aroma wafting in the air all too similar. Squealing like an excited school girl, she jumped down the stairs before rushing towards the kitchen, eyes practically sparkling.

(Y/n) chuckled at her reaction, before embracing her into a quick hug, sneaking a couple of pecks on her cheeks. “You made me pancakes, I am eternally grateful!” Ume cheered, sitting down on the chair that was her usual spot.

“You deserve it. Especially after you passed your test on biology.” (y/n) grinned, his hand sneaking towards his girlfriends’ unnocupaid hand, intertwining their fingers together.

Ume simply nodded in affirmation, too busy digging into the pancakes, her cheeks stuffed like a hamster stuffing food in its pouches. (Y/n) sighed, a small smile gracing his features.

He’s really grateful to have a girlfriend as beautiful and hard-working as Ume.

You decided to join the drama club just to spice up your life

Nothing interesting had happened to you in a few months so the drama club sounded like a fun time

You joined around the same time as Pina did

And oh boy was he pretty

You knew he was an asshole the second he started talking

His very pretty appearance couldn't mask his cocky and rude behavior

But even after all that you still felt strange around him

Your stomach felt full of butterflies and your face felt hot around him

Him being a solid foot taller than you didn't help

He had taken an interest to you as well

He often ate lunch with you when neither of you were busy

He bought the two of you lunch usually since you hated talking to the staff

You paid him back everytime so he wasn't spending a bunch of money

He told you about how he had multiple girlfriends at the same time

and how he confused their names

and how they all eventually found out and broke up with him

Now you felt guilty for liking him that way

"What if he just forgets about me? What if he says he feels the same way only to brag he dated a fennec fox?"

Those thoughts often ran through your head during practice

Fall came around quickly, which ment the fall performance was right around the corner

By that time Pina knew about your feeling for him and he had known for a while

He teased you by hovering around you while you were cleaning up, joking about how you felt about him, sometimes even getting uncomfortably close to you

You were playing as one of the deaths for the play

Having such a big role for the first performance your doing got your heart racing and your anxiety going

Pina and the other could tell you were nervous

So he decided to help you before the show started

He leaned down to match eye level with you so neither of you had to strain your neck

"Y/N, I know having such a big role for your first performance is nerve wracking. It's ok to feel nervous, especially around me, but I know you can do it."

He patted your shoulder, as he stood up straight to walk away

Before he could do that you jumped up and hugged his neck, your tail wagging happily

"Thank you Pina"

Surprised from the sudden hug he took a second to hug you back

He offered for you two to hang out after the play that night

He would most definitely teases you for being shorter than him

Kaido is also one of the shorter characters in the show standing at 159 cm(5'2) and he would get such an ego boost from being asked to help you get things down

"Oh, you need my help?" He says in a playful tone every single time you ask for help

He helps you without fail(he might starts climbing on things though)

He loves you very much

Whenever someone makes fun of you for being short he becomes much like his guardian spirit animal

A chihuahua

He will yip at them until they eventually leave out of annoyance
