Thinking lovingly abt the silly headcanon me and a friend came up with where Lewis just has this insane one sided beef with Shane. Like Shane doesn't even know they're enemies but Lewis HATES him!!! He used to be able to see Marnie whenever he wanted but NOW he can't sneak in or out during the night anymore because there's just some Guy there!!! Can't slip through the front door because now there's just some dude there who's eating leftovers out of the fridge in his t shirt and boxers at 3am because he's wasted and has crazy munchies!!!!! Lewis is FUMING!!!!!! Meanwhile Shane doesn't even know they have beef...

Which is also why in Nix-verse Lewis is very eager once Nix starts not-so-subtley hinting and asking how marriage works in this area. He's like YES YES IT'S VERY SIMPLE AND EASY I CAN GIVE YOU THE DOCUMENTS NOW IF YOU LIKE!!!!! Lemme tell you, Lewis is over the moon at the idea of Shane moving out and finally being able to visit Marnie in peace again LOL
