the thing about terfs is the features they mock on trans women are oftentimes features that i have also seen on cis women. at their core they are not interested in liberating women from social pressure, they are upholding these standards under the guise of it being selectively applied to only trans women. that’s a blatant facade though, because if they think trans women aren’t women in part because they don’t “look right”, that will necessarily mean that they believe a woman must look a certain way, and those standards always seem to align with how western society wants women to look. terfs are fundamentally aligned with conservatism and the christian right because those are the only ideologies that stand to uphold traditional values such as the idea that a woman must look a certain way to be recognized and better subjugated into a proper social role. they are not feminists, even if many (if not most) are under the delusion that they are. their ideology is harmful to women from the ground up. they built it all on a foundation of white supremacy and conservative values. they are not feminists. they are the enemy of feminism.
