I know Hidden Object games can be cheaply made/written, but it seems like the most I've tried playing lately just aren't...good. Like. I've seen HOPA games that have GOOD plot, ACTUAL characters + development, etc., but there are soooo many out there that are made just to...well, be made...
WHY am i so picky with hidden object games. Like I know I need to play and find more of them but each time I play a free trial of some new HOPA game I'm always looking at it like this

I also have played True Fear Forsaken Souls and quite liked it ^-^
!!!! You really should replay it, I'm on a replay right now and it's so great!!
The True Fear games are soooo good! I can't wait for the next game coming out this October. Hope to catch some more horror-themed HOPAs too!
A hidden object game, also called hidden picture or hidden object puzzle adventure (HOPA), is a subgenre of puzzle video games in which the player must find items from a list that are hidden within a scene.

a mask changes everything. you can have the most cringefail guy ever and people will listen to them when their face is covered by a cool enough mask

Some 'screenshots' of the hidden object game I'm working on here and there. The first picture is of Zuzi and Funfetti at the very beginning of the game still in the train car, featuring Funfetti's journal and hint jack-in-the-box, and the second is the first hidden object section, where they're investigating the train conductor's area for clues as to where he went.
