Tbh I Don't Get All The "first Name Basis, Call Him Megumi" Posts Bc Megumi Doesn't Like His First Name.
Tbh I don't get all the "first name basis, call him Megumi" posts bc Megumi doesn't like his first name. He prefers Fushiguro. He introduces himself by that only, like when Yuuji and Nobara used their full names, all he said was "Fushiguro". That name means nothing to him but resentment.
It's kind of in the same vein as Maki saying to not call her Zenin - which, weirdly, Megumi kept doing, despite having a similar issue with his own name. I guess this shows that he's a distant person, more comfortable with being yelled at than being on a first-name basis.
Anyway, "call him Yuuji" makes sense. But I think there are other, better ways for Yuuji to call Megumi by.
Though the meaning of his name feels more relevant than ever, especially with the split and Sukuna being like "I am a curse", it almost feels like he would start to go by Megumi at this point.

Sometimes I wonder if I fucked up by making my main blog about a hyperfixation like
What if it changes?
But idk man like, I had phases with other anime and books etc since then and it's just... I haven't been this obsessed w anything since middle school. I didn't think it was neurologically possible anymore. So I'm clinging to this for as long as possible.
And if it does change someday then I'll sort this mess into better organized sideblogs like I meant to months ago
Thanks everyone for making me feel less like a conspiracy theorist 🫡
I've said before that Sukuna might have chosen to undergo self-mummification to keep Kenjaku out of his skull (among other reasons that aren't relevant here)
But anyway, Wasuke had seen that Kaori was dead, and then she was there but not right... He told Jin to stay away from that woman, or he'd die.
I want to know what he knows!!
I feel like if Sukuna lived up to his reputation, we would have gotten any scene of him eating people, or at least implying it. (though if he did a thousand years ago, then there were likely a socially accepted context anyway - I've read about it being a thing for health reasons, and there were famines during the Heian era too).
But I can only think of one person in jujutsu kaisen who willingly did that, and it was Yuuji. Eating an ancient human finger (in the manga he just picked it up from the ground and ate it, the anime dramatized and corrupted that scene imo).
I guess old fingies weren't enough bc he ate his aborted siblings too.
The most similar thing I can think of is Geto and Kenjaku eating curses (but it's their CT, and swallowing a spirit orb doesn't rly count) and Uraume draining cursed spirits for the bath.
I feel like I'm missing something. Am I missing something?
Oh, there's the headcanon or theory that Kenjaku (as Kaori) fed Jin to Yuuji (I haven't seen much about this but it's interesting so pls send me anything on it ily).
We do know that Yuuji was born with one of Sukuna's fingers already (Idk if I want to know how kenjaku managed to do that. I do but I'm scared).
We also know that he was never disturbed by curses (when talented sorcerers struggle to get over their disgust), that he was passionate about picking his nose, that he watched gross movies, and that he appreciates every food ever.
