the into the wild apprentices [firepaw, graypaw, ravenpaw, sandpaw, dustpaw] ask whitestorm for a scary story. everyone says whitestorm tells pretty good stories, maybe not SCARY stories, but sandpaw says once he told her some scary story about some scary demon cat who still haunts thunderclan’s forest, apparently killed some cats and all that.

whitestorm scrunches up in the apprentices den with them, decides to tell them the scary story, and he gets really into it - “and the cat stalked its prey, followed the thunderclan warrior aaaaaalllll the waaayyyy to the river….” - and the apprentices are all at varying levels of being scared: firepaw is trying to be brave but pressing into graypaw, graypaw has his face in his paws, ravenpaw is shivering and hiding behind everyone, sandpaw is interested and leaning in close, and dustpaw is pretending like hes not terrified even though he keeps looking over his shoulder - and then. very suddenly, as whitestorm is getting to the best part-

they hear a LOUD fuckin yell, someone crashing into the apprentices den, and firepaw nearly pisses himself, ravenpaw screams and hides under whitestorm, graypaw crashes through the den wall, dustpaw does the same, and whitestorm freaks the FUCk out for a moment before he realizes it’s just tigerclaw being an asshole and trying to terrify them because he “saw the opportunity and took it” but then very suddenly

sandpaw rams into tigerclaw and beats the shit out of him, at first being like DEMON CAT ITS THE DEMON CAT I’LL KILL IT and then she realizes it’s tigerclaw and just. keeps going. tigerclaw is covering his head with his paws and freaking the fuck out because she’s beating the hell out of him and whitestorm doesnt even call her back he just stares at tigerclaw like: “that’s what you get for being a fucking ass.”
