Please Don't Get A Sphynx Cat. They Have Special, Complicated Needs That Are Hardly Ever Met Or Detailed

Please don't get a sphynx cat. They have special, complicated needs that are hardly ever met or detailed in writing, a variety of health issues, and I honestly wouldn't trust a sphynx cat breeder to be doing the best they can for the animals. Instead consider adopting from a local shelter! There are LOTS of kitties who need homes right now. There is NO reason to buy a purebred cat when so many need homes.

Oh my, is that right?! Thank you for the advice, kind anon! I was definitely gonna adopt in the first place. I will not get a cat now, for I KNOW my family and I wouldn’t be able to handle another pet. If I am to get a new pet, I want it to be given the care and love it deserves. But once I’m older and ready, I plan on goin’ to a local shelter and findin’ the right darlin’ for me~ ;w;

I feel bad for sphynx cats now though. They sound like they have quite the tough time findin’ the right owner! :C

I don't want to agonize you all with a long post, so I've decided I'll just briefly mention what's been goin' on recently and will touch upon them in detail in later posts.

I want to thank EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU who has helped my mother, sisters, and I with your help! I am deeply sorry for not replying to some of you, but rest assured I read every single comment and cherished every helping hand. Thanks to you all, my bank account has been saved and thus we are able to stash any money there safely (and yes, my dad STILL didn't pay me back on that overdraft. I am workin' on commissions as we speak and I am SO sorry for the lateness, my loves! Truly, life has been soul-drainin' and tirin'. X___X;; BUT, now that summer is here and things have simmered down, I now have time to draw most deliciously~! <3 I will be re-openin' commissions and settin' new summer prices and goodness!

I have jumped on yet another bandwagon and now have an instagram. On there I will be postin' WIPs and other such derpiness~

They do. Even if people are prepared for their physical needs (which they almost never are. Sphynx cats need to be supervised 24/7 and can almost NEVER be in the sun-- oh, and need special skin treatments every single day) they are not prepared for their mental needs. Sphynx cats need more exercise and mental stimulation than other cats-- more toys, higher perches, tunnels, posts, hiding places-- caring for a sphynx is VERY complicated.

Wow, that certainly DOES sound complicated! O_O;;

Perhaps because the film had SO much potential to be 1000% cooler than it was? Considerin' it had a GORGEOUS animation and a BADASS queen, but a weak story and a princess with her hair bein' her best feature~? C:
