You really don’t realize how disconnected from reality rich people are until you have to work for them bro, like I just had a woman start crying because I told her that the leather recliners she wants to order would take 2 weeks to ship and she goes “We just finished our custom home theater room and I have a get together this weekend and I have kitchen chairs in there. do you have any idea what thats like?” HELLO????

"God damn it, Aigar!" The town's Health and Safety inspector seethed at the Dwarven man before her. "How many times to I have to tell you that you need a permit to mine under the town?!"

Aigar, a stout man even amongst Dwarves, awkwardly ran a hand through his braided mane of fiery red hair. He'd been chewed out plenty of times by Felidae, the resident Tabaxi and dedicated Health and Safety inspector. But even now, in the dim light of the oil lanterns that sputter and flicker, the way Felidae's large green eyes glow with rage in the low light, is downright terrifying.

"Aye! Aye! I heard you, lad!" Aigar tried to defend himself, raising his grubby hands close to his chest as a sign of surrender. "I could'a sworn me directions were right on. I thought I'd gone out from under 'yer town."

Felidae pinches the bridge of her muzzle, trying her best to control her seething rage. "Just get the hell out of here before I have you arrested. Again."

A small town discovers that the long abandoned mines beneath them are larger than previously recorded - and seem to be growing.
