Dont Get Me Wrong! Fairest Was Very Good In Terms Of Being A Prequal And Plot Wise, It Served Its Purpose

Don’t get me wrong! Fairest was very good in terms of being a prequal and plot wise, it served it’s purpose and was very good. And as always, Marissa Meyer did an amazing job writing it! The only reason that the meme is shook, is because I am shook. My LORD Levana, I legit whispered “she didn’t...” so many times while reading this book XD, my GOODNESS.

So, just finished reading Winter by Marissa Meyer...and can I just say I am DYING?! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Cinder and Thorne are my BrOTP

Okie. No one, no one, could ever tell me that Cinder and Thorne are not like, besties at this point in the sense that they’ve become siblings. Just looking at all the evidence in all of the books, I have to make this claim for good. (Spoilers for Cress and Winter ahead.)

Like, Cinder often complains about Thorne and his antics, she rolls her eyes a lot which is understandable, sibling stuff XD. But when she thought he died in Cress, she was sad that he was gone. When they painted over the Rampion, when she saw or heard anything that reminded her of him, she was sad. And then when she saw him again, I love that moment cause she acted like any sibling would, anger at stupidity, then relief to see. And that scene in Winter with the final fight against Levana? Oh my lord don’t even get me started there on the emotion.

Now, Thorne also has his moments where Cinder is like his sister. He is protective over her, like all her friends, but also tries to keep things humorous (ala, the ‘rice in the head’ moment) because, let’s face it, Cinder is usually stressed. He does care about her, and he does trust her very much. The saddest moments are when he is manipulated into hurting her, or almost hurting her. He’s genuinely scared of it, and it would make sense that he would be, because he doesn’t want to hurt her, he loves her (in the best platonic way). 

That was my rant. In case that was too long to read and ya didn’t care, here’s a summary: LIHN CINDER AND CARSWELL THORNE ARE LITERALLY SIBLINGS, CHANGE MY MIND!

Even if he’s a bioengineered soldier, he is still very cute when he is clueless...actually, cute in general, Wolf bitch slapped his brother, and can kill ya in a second, but he also very cute.
