UPDATE 1: First Date

okay so I have now listened through the album once. It wasn’t really listening attentively so that’s why I’m gonna listen through it again during the week.

my thoughts so far.... I don’t hate it. But I’m also not really ecstatic to listen to it again. There are some songs in there that had a nice tune and we’re great to listen to, but most of them... I wasn’t feeling it. Some also seemed like they were going on for FOREVER even though none of the songs are over 4min!! (edit: I just checked, there is in fact one (1) song that is 5min long).

So currently I’m leaning more towards the “not feeling it” side of the tier list. I’ll see what the second listen through brings. OH! And also, I have now successfully convinced my sister to do this with me!

Kristen Stewart went from playing the toppiest top in Charlie's Angels to the bottomest bottom in Happiest Season because she has the range, darling.

THE TIERS + other important info

So, as I said in my previous post I will be reviewing the musicals and talking about my opinions. In addition to all that I will also be ranking said musicals.

I also just wanted to put it out there that some of this soundtracks I HAVE listened to before. Not many, but still. I will mention that also in the reviews of said musicals.

A REBRANDING

because of the sudden deletion of my previous blog (</3 rip) i’m gonna make this one into a (mostly) musical blog. I’m going to steal the idea for this from another blog (I cannot remember the name right night, but if anyone does please message me so I can credit them!), and review little known/underrated musicals on this blog. I’ll take a week to listen through each musical at least once, and then I’ll write a review, my thought and opinions, critique, etc.

FINAL REVIEW: First Date

okay so this week flew by. I had zero time to listen to the whole album again unfortunately. I had so much work to do.

So to my review of the musical: It’s okay.

That’s it. I honestly have nothing more to say about it cuz it was utterly forgettable. I remember the first/opening song being really good, but after like the third or fourth one they all started to sound the same. It basically got super boring.

So I’ll be be putting it in the second to last tier, that being: I MEAN... IT IS A MUSICAL.
