Jack Fenton is From Gotham, a Headcannon

CstSo, Jack Fenton, Big, caring, Dad Shaped Individual who cares about Family and his Profession and would more than likely choose family if things went Funky. The Guy who has ran through multiple walls and is capable of fighting Ecto beings BARE FISTED and winning. This guy, who just looks at the mayhem around him and goes “Ah, a peaceful day.” while Maddie is losing her entire god damned mind. You can only really get that sort of attitude about chaos in a few places, and I think Jack was born and raised in Gotham, and furthermore, I think his parents generation of Fentons lived in Crime Alley. 

The IDEAS this gives me, like in a reveal gone sideways with the GIW finding out Jack takes Danny and hides out in his childhood romping grounds and the people just go “Oh Hey, Jack’s back.” and they just melt into the underbelly of Gotham, no one really the wiser and the GIW constantly losing vehicles and Agents to the meatgrinder that is Crime Alley.

Give Me Jack Fenton who has SEEN SOME SHIT, Give me Jack Fenton who has DONE SOME SHIT. This man knows how to do a lot of things and the legality therein can get very Sketchy. Then give us the glory and horror of Gothamites slowly emigrating too/immigrating from Amity Park and it’s just like, That Explains A LOT.

BUT LIKE, BESIDES HARLEY, POISON IVY, AND CATWOMAN, AND MAYBE A FEW OTHER ROGUES, I LIKE TO THINK EDDIE BOY HERE, DESPITE BEING IN THE MAIN ROGUE'S GALLERY, TRIES NOT TO INVOLVE MINORS IN HIS SCHEMES FOR THE MOST PART- Er, teens from 15-18 being a gray area for him.

And sure, Riddler hates it when people go mucking up with his schemes, especially if it's plotted for a certain overgrown furry, but I'd like to think he'd be slightly (I say slightly (with a grain of salt) cause man's still got a fragile ego here cause it's Nygma) impressed when he see's it wasn't the cape crusader to have beaten his challenge, it was a whole class who aren't even from Gotham, or even in the state of New Jersey at all! Hell, they even managed to finish it earlier than his expected time for Batman and his crew to solve it!

What I'm trying to get at is Eddie boy here might end up befriending the class from Amity Park. Why? At this point, I'mma just point it to my bias-ness. (If someone can make a possible explanation, THANK YOU) (Also, he's the one of the few rogue's that can go through a redemption arc (WHICH DC TOOK AWAY EVEN THOUGH HE WAS DOING GREAT AS PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR), I want to see the class be the reason he go through a redemption arc at this point, all because they solved his puzzle... Even if it'll be a while)

Also, he's definetly gonna zero in on those inventions, if not cause it's green, but the fact it's original. Though he isn't a main weapons-dealer in Gotham like Penguin or Two-Face, Edward is an inventor (like a few other Gotham's Rogues cause it became part of a necessity for them). He will notice someone invented it by hand rather then mass produce by a company of sorts. The fact that it looks professionally made as well will impress him. Might try to steal one of them and try to reverse-engineer it to see how it's made... Or just try to make a close enough replica just from the initial look he got of them.

I'd like to think he'll take a shine with Danny if he learns it's his parents who made those weapons and that Danny is able to recreate them himself (cause, let's be honest, Danny's must've at least learned how to make one of them just by being Jack and Maddie's son. Same goes for Jazz- who is a Chaperone in this if she isn't already living in Gotham to get her degree).

He'd also take a shine with Tucker just for his affinity for technology, especially hacking and inventing. I'd see him encouraging him and Danny to invent stuff in his own back-handed complimented way if that makes sense.

*Just, overall Riddler interacting with Danny and his class (in a positive light) which leads to a slow redemption arc for him. He's still keeping his branding though*

The Riddler thinks this might be his best puzzle yet. Clues are scattered through out the city and everything is put in place. He expected Batman to burst through the door, not a handful of civilians holding his riddles and armed to the teeth with green and white weapons.

War Day

After Danny was crowned he decided that the truce party had to have a counterpart, after all ghosts became friends mostly through battles, and he assumed that one day letting them fight wouldn't be a bad thing, it might even help stir up some grudges.

This was how High King Phantom, ruler of the infinite realms inaugurated the long-awaited "Day of War" or just "War Day", a moment when the Infinite Realms naturally became chaotic; alliances were allowed but it was not advisable to trust on them.

And of course, you were free not to participate, you just had to put a blue or green band on your arm, or a little green clock in the backyard of your haunt so the ghosts would leave you, your haunt or your territory in general alone.

Danny thought of it as some kind of giant paintball day, only with no paintballs and full of aggressive ghosts with various powers, it was especially exciting since everyone knew there would be no hard feelings after it and they would end up in the king's palace eating sweets as little children.

They usually celebrated it on a day close to any celebration related to death in human world, when their powers were especially powerful and therefore everyone could have more fun.

The problem was that since Danny had human friends (liminals?) who came to play, they didn't really consider it weird when some humans fell into the realms by a natural portal, and since they weren't wearing any blue or green arm bands they were definitely in the game.

For their part, the family of bats along with some League allies found themselves literally standing on a field of war where everyone seemed to be going for the kill, Jason was strangely excited about it, as was Damian.

When Dick asked one of the locals for an explanation, a guy on a motorbike threw him into the air laughing and yelled "LET THE HUNGER GAMES BEGIN!"
