After no response through the door, Jonathan sighed as he walked up to it closer and leaned at the wall next to it.

"You've been in there for a while now, y'know? Your sis is getting worried. All of us are, kid. Skipping meals like that ain't healthy either... Sure, Ed and I do it often but that doesn't mean-..." The older man's voice started to trail off when he felt something wet under his feet.

"What in the-" He felt his skin grow pale the moment he saw the green liquid leaking under the floor "-Oh... Oh, no- DANNY!? I'M COMING IN!"

Light from the hall leaked in the dark room, as the leak of glowing green trailed towards the single twin bed, where a figure sat atop of it.

Stepping in, Jonathan was hit with an Aura of wrongness. "Danny? You... You alright there, child?"

He watches Danny slowly turn his head, a loud sickening crack following it, and much to Jonathan's horror, he now saw why everything felt wrong.

"It's April third, Uncle Jonathan. Sister Jasmine knows this. Sister Jasmine should have remembered this."

Danny wasn't here in his room right now. Danno was.

Probably a tad ooc but I'm going the reincarnation route, and doin a few name liberties, and going to hit a few time periods. Specifically, Salem, Victorian, and Modern.

This will probably go on AO3 later but its just a starting scene.

Jackson Nightingale threw blood blossoms at the witch and the ghostly, beastly bird that followed him around. But he held none of his usual exuberance. “I told you, Jonathan, it should have gone when father did, repent and you will be free from the hold of the beast.”

“You know what father-” the word spat like poison “-did to me! This beast is of his own making, and yet it is the only piece of him that gives me any comfort.”

“Do you not hear your own madness speaking? They are coming with the flames, do not let me see what becomes of you...”

“Never state me mad, brother, if I can even call you that.”

“If you are not sickened, then release that beast and repent!”

“I refuse to ever be rid of it, even if I could."

“Then I cannot save you...” Saddened by his failure, Jackson turned as the bonfire was lit, unable to watch his brother burn.

Jonathan was quick to lay the final verbal blow, as his form began to morph, skin molting into feathers with each lick of the flames, his own mind all but tearing at the seams. “You do not know what father did, so I swear to bind you and any other Nightingale! Even should the name be wiped from history, those who once carried the name shall take the form! Shall feel the pain father wracked upon me! My bloodline ends here, but yours will not, brother. This is a promise. Pray yourself lucky if we never meet again.”

Three Favorite Food: Nilagang Baka (Filipino food) with rice, Sinigang (also Filipino food) with rice, and... Popeye's shrimp popcorn (they taste amazing, ok? Pair it with the chicken tenders and a side of mash potatoes and you're all set!)

(I'm Asian (even if I was raised as an American), ok? Most foods I eat have some rice at least usually.)

Last song I listened to: Phoenix by League of Legends Ft. Caitlin Russo and Chrissy Costanza. It's a great song that I like to play sometimes for inspiration and motivation.
