I found a new parallel between Ezra Bridger and Omega in The Bad Batch 1x02!

I was so excited to see Cut Lawquane in the phase 2/3 Clone Wars animation style...why?

He doesn’t really look like the regs we saw in the cafeteria fight and hopefully he doesn’t look like Rex. It seems like his design was more in between phase 1 and phase 2 animation styles...

Not to mention this f*cking monstrosity:

ANYWAYS, Cut Lawquane is a great dad and I love him regardless! The way he was so quick to accept Omega into their family and how Shaeeah and Jek aren’t even his biological kids but he treats them like his own🥲

Ok so i noticed something interesting

So as we all know darth maul(pre rebels) has a new double bladed lightsaber in star wars: the clone wars season 7.

Last time we saw him (in cannon) was in Darth Maul: son of Dathomir in which he only has two lightsabers, the Darksaber and half of his original double bladed lightsaber.

Half of the new saber is from his original saberstaff but the other half’s origin is unexplained.

Eagle eyes viewers noticed that the new half resembles the unused design for asajj Ventresses new lightsabers she would have gotten in the never made dark disciple arc.

But what they seem to have forgotten is that dark disciple was adapted into a cannon book, and on the promo art and cover of said book we can see those lightsabers. Meaning the design isnt unused.

I believe this implies an offscreen meeting between Ventress and Maul in-which Maul somehow gained one of Ventresses lightsabers. This meeting also could have been what cause Maul to lose the darksaber.

But idk maybe im just reaching.
