Chapter 2

'To think I would stay here' Lilith thought. Back in her dorm, Lilith only grabbed her knife and puts it in her right pocket. The eleven year opened her window and climbed out of it, from there she jumped on the roof across from her after that she slipped intentionally to the rain gutter and climbed down on it. She looked one more time back to see if anyone noticed her escape, luckily for her no one did. She walked along the road to an old house. The house was made of wood and not really big, but a good spot for hiding things, especially since someone made the rumor, that it was haunted. She walked in it and to the living room. Lilith kneeled in front of the couch and got her bow and arrows from under it. The girl puts both of them on her back and went to the city center where always a mart was. On her way she saw a poster, it was about, that today is going to be a hanging from a pirate. Lilith raised her eyebrows and sighed, she was never a fan from hanging, she just didn't saw the point of it. "Hey, you!", Lilith turned only a bit to see that it was on from the Royal Navy. "Fvck.", she muttered, as she started to sprint down the street. She climbed on a near roof and from there, she saw the gallows, which were good 37 meters away from her current spot, where the pirate already stood. A rope around his neck. He got brown dreads, a red bandana, a dirty white shirt with a brown vest over it, brown pants and brown boots on. Lilith could swear she saw him saying 'Captain, Captain Jack Sparrow' when the announcer said his name and his crimes. She couldn't help but smile at his priorities. The girl only knew him from books and stories, but she didn't want him to die. If only half of what she heard and read about him was true then he shouldn't die, maybe he could even help her to run away. Lilith knew she had to be fast if she really wanted to save him. At that time the soldiers were also on the roof and ran towards her. The calls from them made all the people look to her and her chasers, even the pirate looked at her. Unfortunately that didn't stop the executioner from grabbing the lever and pulling it. Lilith jumped from the roof, on which she used to ran on and in between the two roofs the eleven year old aimed with her bow and arrow to the rope and let go, hoping she didn't miss, because if she missed she was going to be hanged too and couldn't help the pirate. Everything seemed to stop and everyone only watched the arrow, until it successfully cut the rope. The girl landed on the ground swung her bow back to her back and made her way to the pirate, in hope he would knew what to do. On her way she stole two swords one for herself and one for the famous Captain Jack Sparrow. When she finally made it to him, he sat clearly confused on the floor. However as she offered him a sword he gladly took it. Not a second later Lilith turned around and blocked an attack from one of the soldiers, it was strange, it was like she knew someone was going to attack her. She had always good reflexes but never once was it like that, but Lilith hadn't more time to think about it, because the girl was in a full sword fight with a soldier trying to stay as close to Jack as possible, somehow she got the feeling, that she could trust him. After all Lilith saved his life and risked her own. In the corner of her eye she saw that Jack gave his best at fighting, but it didn't had much use. There were far to many soldiers. Soon Lilith and Jack were both in iron chains. "I did know that you don't quite like following the rules, but freeing a pirate? I really thought you knew better.", Norrington said. She knew him a bit, because he often brought her back to the orphanage, when she ran away. Lilith just lightly shrugged her shoulders and responded "didn't got much to lose, did I?". Before anyone said something else, Lilith and Jack were brought to the prison. On the way no one spoke, until they were harshly thrown into a dirty cell. "Well, what do I call my savior?" The pirate showed his golden teeth, as he smirked. "My name is Lilith." She answered looking for a way to get out, but she gave up. "Not that I'm complaining, but why did you save me. I can't recall that I met you before." "I don't really know.", Lilith spoke truthfully," I just thought it's not the right time for the famous Captain Jack Sparrow and I hate the concept of hanging or in general killing prisoners." Something about Jack made Lilith trust him and she felt somehow familiar with him, although she doesn't knew what it was, normally she can't trust anyone and no one felt like her family, especially a fearsome pirate that she only just met. "Thank you,luv." Their conversation goes a little further and they began to talk more about themselves. "Your little rescue operation was quite impressive, you know, where did you learn that?", he asked interested. "Well, you don't have that much fun to do in an orphanage. I always found sword fighting and archery fascinating, so I started training myself, when I turned seven. It was also a good distraction from my parents.", she replied. "You're an orphan?", Lilith sighed. "Yes, my mother was murdered by my father, when I was six, since then I had to live in an orphanage. I don't have any other relatives." The eleventh year old answered acting though but Jack saw the sadness in her eyes. "I'm so sorry, luv, do you want to talk about it?" "What?", Lilith asked confused. "Well, you don't seem like a girl that talks with everybody about everything." Both of them were silent for a bit. "I really miss her. She didn't deserve to die, especially not because of the man she loved and trusted.", Lilith choked out. "I know, I'm so sorry.", he comforted. "Why be sorry. You weren't the one who killed her.", she managed to form a small smile, which he returned. " Why were you chased by soldiers back on the roof?", he asked not just because he was curious about the girl across from her, but also to distract her, he saw the pain in her eyes, when she talked about them. Lilith smirked. "I ran away.", the pirate thought it's best if he left the question with the answer he got. "Are the stories true?", Lilith asked after a while. " Which stories,luv?", the Captain asked. "That your Captain of the Black Pearl.". Jack sighed. "I was.", was the only thing he said. "May I asked what happened?", he smiled at how careful and polite she asked. "My first mate caused a mutiny, long story short he marooned me on a lonely island and sailed away with my ship." I'm sorry, Captain Sparrow.", Lilith stopped for a moment," how did you get from the island?". "Sea turtles, luv." Lilith gave him a confused look but didn't asked any further. After a while of silence she spoke again "You'll get your ship back. I'm sure of it!" " What makes you so sure?", He asked. "Oh come on, you're Captain Jack Sparrow. You will find a way. I know it!", Lilith motivated him. Jack smirked and Lilith saw his golden teeth again. "Lilith?" Lilith looked a bit surprised, when he used her name but hummed in response anyway. "If we get out of here, will you do me the honor by joining my crew?" Jack asked hoping, that she would say yes. "I-I would really love to, but I never sailed before and don't want to be a burden for you or the crew." The girl replied looking at the floor. "You could never be a burden, luv." the pirate said as he put an arm around her shoulder. Instead of pulling away and slap the person, who was touching her, she snuggled closer to the pirate. "But of course, I can teach you what to do, if you want to work." He offered. "You would?", the eleventh year old questioned. "Aye luv, think about it. Being a pirate means not only robbing silver and gold or killing and threatening people. Being a pirate is mostly about freedom, when you're a pirate you're free from anything.", Jack explained with passion from which Lilith had to smile a bit. "In that case my answer is yes. But how on earth will you get out of here?" "I'm not sure yet, but somehow we will get out, don't you worry, luv.", the girl smirked again at how determined he was. "But to pass a little time we're not going to respond with yes, we're going to respond with aye, alright?" Jack stated "Aye, Captain!" Lilith answered"You're a fast learner, that's good!" The two talked a little more, until the girl grew more and more tired. She fell asleep in Jack's arms. "Goodnight, luv, I promise you we will get safe out of here!" Jack smiled. Even if he only just met her, he liked her (!NOT IN A ROMANTIC WAY!) and he knew she would be a good crew member. After a while he fell asleep too and slept quite a while, until they suddenly both heard unnaturally loud footsteps coming the stairs to the prison down.

You walked up beside him, admiring the beauty of the landscape. "It's so peaceful here," you said softly.

Legolas turned to you with a smile. "Yes, it is. And it's even more peaceful when I'm with you."

You felt your heart skip a beat at his words. Legolas had always been kind and attentive to you, but there was something about the way he looked at you that made your heart race.

"Legolas," you said, your voice barely above a whisper. "I've always admired you, but lately I've been feeling something more. Something deeper."

Legolas's eyes narrowed as he looked into yours. "I've felt it too," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I've felt it since the moment I met you. It's a feeling I can't ignore, no matter how hard I try."

You reached out and took his hand, feeling a wave of warmth wash over you. "Then don't try," you said softly. "Let's embrace this feeling, no matter what the future holds."

Legolas looked down at your hand in his, then back up at you. "I will," he said, his voice full of emotion. "I will embrace this feeling with all my heart."

You leaned in closer to him, your lips inches away from his. "Then show me," you whispered.

Legolas wrapped his arms around you and pulled you close, pressing his lips to yours in a passionate kiss. You wrapped your arms around him, feeling a wave of heat and desire wash over you.

As the sun set and the stars came out, you and Legolas sat on the grassy hill, watching the night sky, and feeling the love between you grow stronger with each passing moment.

Chapter 4

"1...2...3!", Jack counted. Both took a deep breath and put the boat away to swim to the surface. When they finally reached it, they took themselves a minute to steady their breathing again. Then they began climbing to the deck of the ship. Jack was the first, who reached it and held a hand out for Lilith, which she gladly took. He hoisted her up and pulled his pistol out. Lilith imitated the action with her sword. "Everyone stay calm. We're taking over the ship!", Jack announced. "Aye, Avast!", Lilith heard an unfamiliar voice behind her say. Everyone looked in the direction from where the voice came from. The girl saw a rather young man with brown hair, which reached his shoulders. She looked to Jack not knowing what to do. He only nodded to her, signalizing to not hurt the stranger yet. "This ship can not be crewed by two men." Gillette stated. "Excuse me?! Am I invisible to you?", Lilith asked as anger fills her senses. All the men from the Royal Navy started laughing, which only made her angrier. "Oh please, Woman are only there for good looking, doing chores and maybe bring a man his joy if you know what I mean." Lilith nearly exploded from the amount of anger she was experiencing. Jack, who saw that placed a hand on her shoulder trying to comfort her, which was of little to no use. Suddenly Lilith's eyes turned black again and she could feel how her canines grew. The girl smelled the blood running trough the veins from the men on deck. Lilith sensed every little movement, and she got a better vision than with her normal eyes. She saw the anxious faces from the men, but she didn't feel bad about it she felt proud of herself. The little girl, who wasn't good for anything other than to look good had now a group of grown up soldiers scared of her. She felt so much stronger and more powerful than ever before. One of the soldiers tried his luck, aimed his pistol at her and pulled the trigger. But thanks to her new senses she turned and caught the bullet with her pointer finger and her thumb with ease only inches away from her face. She then walked over to the man, who now looked completely terrified. Lilith grabbed him harshly by the collar furthermore picked him easily up and let him hang trembling over the railing. "Really nice try but you definitely have to try harder to kill me!", she laughed. Her voice was slightly deeper than her normal voice and full of power. Jack was surprised to say the least from Lilith's appearance and the way she acts. Without sparing the trembling man a second look Lilith let go of him and let him fall into the blue waves, which crashed against the ship. "Still think I'm useless?", the girl smirked showing her now long sharp canines. The rest just stood there shocked for a while before they all sailed away from the Dauntless in one of the little boats as fast as possible. Lilith transformed back and immediately pointed her sword at the stranger's throat. "Who are you?!", the girl asked sternly. He swallowed hard before answering. "W-Will, Will Turner.", he anxiously stuttered out as he looked to Jack in hope, he would rescue him. "Let go of him, lass.", Jack calmly ordered as he walked to the wheel. She reluctantly let go of him and muttered a small "Aye, captain.". Jack had a tough time not to smile at this. She was obviously much stronger than him but still obeyed to him and trusted his decisions. Will sighed in relief as the sword left his throat unharmed. "You do know what pirates do with stowaways, do you?", Will now looked again terrified as the pirate continued, "so what is your excuse? I'm especially curious since you said you do not want to cross paths with pirates and now you tried to help two pirates commandeer a ship.". "I- They took Mrs Swann.", Will muttered. "Oh. So, there's a girl. And now you want to save her from the cruel pirates and play the hero to win the fair lady's heart?", Jack mocked, "Well in that case you will have to do it on your own. I see no profit in it for us.", he went on and put his arm around the girl's shoulders. Lilith looked at this point simply confused back and forth between the two men. "You know him?", She asked Jack puzzled, who only hummed in response scared that she would transform again if she knew the hole story. "Jack please I beg you- ", "It is still captain to you!", the girl interrupted him. "Lad, as I said I see no profit in it for me neither for Lilith. Means you can beg as much as you want, I won't help you, Savvy?", the pirate said sparing Will to ask again. "I do whatever you like if you help me. Please, I love her!", Will begged desperately. "Whatever I like?", Jack wondered out loud. "Yes!", Will instantly exclaimed. "Your name Will, that will be short for William I imagine. Good strong name. No doubt named after your father, right?", Jack asked. Will only answered with a puzzled 'Yes' "Alright welcome on board, young Mr. Turner. But if you don't obey, I will let Lilith do whatever she wants with you.", Jack smirked at the last part of their deal and Will swallowed again clearly scared of her but nodded anyway at the chance of rescuing the girl he loves more than anything in this world. Lilith didn't looked too pleased with their new crew mate but as always so far she respected the decision of the captain and trusted him. Jack tried to show Will something with a rope when Lilith saw something . "And here they come.", she informed the males, at that they both looked to the direction of the haven and saw the Interceptor sailing in their direction. "I hope your plan works.", Lilith said as she looked to her captain. "Thought you got nothing to lose?", Jack asked smirking at her. "Fair enough.", she said now smirking too. "Just keep to the plan and everything should be fine.", the captain reassured both Will and Lilith. Both of them nodded and everyone hid themselves. When the Royal Navy came on board of the Dauntless and searched for them the three all grabbed a rope and swung over on board of the Interceptor. Will and Lilith instantly began to cut all the ropes that bounded the two ships. When the men from the Royal Navy finally noticed that the three they searched for where currently on the Interceptor it was too late for them to come back over. One poor guy even fell into the sea  as he tried to swing back over. Jack shouted something but Lilith couldn't make it out since she was too busy with glaring at Will. She didn't trust him even if her captain did. Soon she found herself sitting next to Jack, who was standing at the wheel, sharpening her sword. "When I was a lad living in England my mother raised me by herself after she died I came out here looking for my father.", Will explains. "Is that so?", Jack asked not really interested in his life story. "My father, Bill Turner, back at the Dauntless it was only after you have learned my name that you agreed to help me since that's what I wanted I didn't press the matter. I'm not a simpleton, Jack. You knew my father.", Will explained further. Jack sighted and finally looked at Will. "I know him probably one of the few that knew him as William Turner. Everyone  else just called him 'bootstrap' or 'bootstrap Bill'.", Jack explained and walked away as Will disbelievingly 'bootstrap?' muttered. " Good man, good pirate. I swear you look just like him!", he went on. "Its not true!", Will exclaimed, "he was a merchant sailor. A good respectable man who obeyed the law!". Jack clearly annoyed by this turned quickly to face him again as he steered the ship. "He was a bloody pirate of scallywag!", Jack repeated. "My father was not a pirate!", he argued again as he drew his sword. Lilith looked up and watched every move closely as she held the handle of her sword in a tight grip. "Put it away, son. its not worth you're getting beat again.", the captain calmly stated. "You didn't beat me. You ignored the rules of engagement. In a fair fight I'd kill you.", Will reminded him. "That's not much incentive for me to fight fair then, is it?", he responded. Out of sudden the captain turned the wheel harshly so that the mast pushed Will over the railing not before he dropped his sword on deck and if Will didn't grab onto it he would have fallen over board. "As long as you're just hanging there, pay attention! The only rules that really matter are these: What a man can do and what a man can't do- ", he cut himself of as he looked at Lilith, who glared at him, "And woman.", he quickly added and went on, " For instance you can accept that your father was a pirate and a good man or you can't. The pirate is in your blood boy, so you'll have to square with that someday. Now me for example I can let you drown but i can't bring this ship into Tortuga with only me and Lilith, savvy? So-", he turned the wheel once again so Will landed harshly on the deck again and pointed the sword he dropped before at him, "can you sail under the command of a pirate", he flipped Will's sword so the handle was now pointing at him, "or can you not?", he finished as Will grabbed his sword again. "Tortuga?", Will repeated still laying on the floor. "Tortuga.", Jack confirmed.

You and Newt were close friends until he became friends with Leta. She told him that you talk bad about her because she is a Slytherin (you´re a Gryffindor). Since then, he didn´t talk to you anymore and if he had to talk to you in class, he isn´t polite anymore and pretty cold towards you. You didn´t know why he was so mean to you. You kept asking him about it till he yelled that you should leave him alone and that he doesn´t want anything to do with you anymore. You stand there with tears in your eyes watching him leave. After that you ran to your dorm and cried you just lost a good friend and didn´t even knew why. You looked in your mirror “if he doesn´t want anything to do with me I don’t want anything to do with him either! “ You thought to yourself. You wiped your tears away and went to class. From this day you and Newt ignored each other. But Leta and you argued every time you saw each other, most of the time Leta started the arguments, but every time Newt was on Leta’s side no matter what she did to you or called you. You sat against a tree by the black lake playing with your necklace when Leta and Newt comes up to you. “What are you doing Y/n? “ She asked pretending to be friendly. “What does it look like? “ You asked annoyed. “Uh, what is this? “ She snatched the necklace from your hands. “Leta give it back! “ You said with a bit worry and anger in your voice. She rolled her eyes and left. You still tried to find your necklace, but it was nearly impossible because the lake is deep and when you´re on the ground you nearly immediately need to come up for air and you forgot your wand in your dorm. One and a half hour later you give up and get out of the lake. To your surprise Newt is there. “H-Hey Y/n. L-look I-I’m really s-sorry I- ““YOU DON´T UNDERSTAND! THAT NECKLACE WAS FROM MY MOTHER! SHE DIED!” you screamed. “I-it was the only thing I got from her” you said as you began to cry. “Oh Y/n I-I’m s-so s-sorry I-I didn´t know-“ Newt tried to apologize. “Of course, you didn´t! You spend all your time with ignoring and hating me” you said angrily between sobs. You run in your dorm and cried. Newt knew he had to apologize but he didn’t know how, he sat down against a tree and try to think of ways he could apologize to you.

Newt Scamander x Reader

You wake up with Newts strong arms wrapped protectively around you. He was still asleep. You pushed a strand of hair out of his face and admired him as he slept peacefully. Newt slowly began to wake up. "You could have woken me up" he said with his morning voice. "But you looked so peacefully" you responded. Newt began to blush as he realized what you had said. "Thank you" you said nuzzling deeper in his chest. "F-for what?" He asked confused. "For yesterday, I don't know what he would have done with me if you weren't there and if I'm honest I think I don't want to know it." You said as you felt tears in your eyes. Newt, who heard the sadness in your voice, hugged you tighter. "Ssh it's over now. You're safe with me and I'll protect you I promise." "Thank you so much I don't know what I would do without you." You said as he smiled. "How about I stay awake and protect you and you go back to sleep. I know you need it." "What about school? I don't want that you get detention because of me." "I don't care. And they will understand it if you want to talk about it with them. I don't say anything if you don't want that but, in my opinion, I think you should talk to them so he can get punished but it's up to you, ok?" You just nodded and drifted off to sleep again. You wake up alone in Newts room and were confused because the young wizard normally kept his promises until you saw the bathroom door open (imagine the dorms have their own bathroom) and Newt came out just with a pair pants on. You couldn't help but state at his scars and muscles. "Oh, you're awake. I uh I'm sorry I know they're pretty ugly." He said obviously embarrassed as he put a shirt on. "What? No! They are not!" you stand up and walk towards him. "Well, I think they are, along with my freckles and-" "Whoa stop! I forbid you to talk about yourself like that, remember? And by the way I think that they make you unique. And your scars show that you are brave enough to stand next to a creature that could possibly rib your throat. And I think that your quite handsome just like you are." You now stand directly in front of him you're noses nearly touching. He is bright red and looked from your eyes to your lips and back up, clearly nervous. "C-can I k-kiss you?" he managed to stutter. You we're surprised by his question but quickly nodded. He slowly leaned in, giving you enough time to still back away. And then his soft lips landed on yours. The kiss was soft and you didn't ever want to pull away. When you finally pulled away You just looked in each other's eyes. Suddenly there's loud knock at the door, which made you flinch and hide behind Newt. He quickly put a random shirt on, grabbed your hand and called the person in. The door opened and in the doorway stands Professor Dumbledore. "If I remember correctly, you should be in class now, Mr. Scamander." "I uh-" "Am I right Mr. Scamander?" Dumbledore asked "Yes, Professor" he said looking at the floor. "May I ask then why you are here and not in class, you don't seem ill?" "Its because of me, Professor!" you quickly replied. The Professor looked at you. "Yesterday, there" you take a deep breath feeling tears build up "ther-there was this boy" you couldn't say more before you burst into tears again. Newt quickly pulled you in his arms. "He abused her." Newt completed your sentence still holding you. "Miss/Mr Y/l/n, is that true?" Dumbledore asked. You just nodded against his chest "Yes, sir". "Do you know who it was" Dumbledore asked complete serious now. You shook your head "but p-please don't give Newt detention it's not his fault he rescued me" "under these circumstances you don't have to worry, miss/Mr. Y/n, neither one of you will get detention." You both let out a sight of relieve. "Could you describe me the boy?" (you two describe the guy) "After I casted the flipendo charm he flew against a sharp stone and began bleeding he now should have a little scar on his left cheek." Newt explained. "Ok, thank you, you two. And I think I know who it could was. And miss/Mr Y/l/n it was really brave to tell me this and I promise he will be punished also I will talk to your professors you are dismissed for today." "Thank you, Sir." You and Newt said at the same time. The Professor left you two alone. "Are you alright Y/n?" Newt asked as you thought about what happened between you two before professor Dumbledore came. Could you kiss him now anytime you want? Does he like you as much as you like him? "Is everything alright, beautiful?" he asked again. Your head shoot up after he called you beautiful "Sorry, what did you say?" he laughed a little "I was asking if you were alright... beautiful." "I uh, yes never better" you blushed and he smirked when he could see the reaction to the nickname, he gave you.

"Y/n, I really need to tell you something that i wanted to say to you long ago."

"Go on then."

"I really fancy you. And I can understand if you don't like me like that, I mean we were just like enemies a few months ago and-"

You cut him off with a soft but meaningful kiss he was first surprised but obviously kisses back. You pulled away and rested your forehead on his "I fancy you to handsome" you said smiling and he blushed. "Revenge" you whispered in his ear, he now began smiling too. "Only fair I guess" he whispered back and your guys smiles grew even more (if that's even possible).

Summary: Newt accidentally body shamed you and when he tried to comfort you he found out how ticklish you were.

You missed Newt. And that was still an understatement. He travelled to America to set Frank free, and you needed to decline his offer to come with him because of your job. He was now gone for a few months and the only thing you get from him are a few letters and postcards. But you needed him in person. You needed his comforting words especially because you suffer from anorexia. When you first met Newt, you were that underweight that you only had skin and bones on you. He helped you on the path to get healthier again. And on the way you two fell in love with one another.

Truth to be told Newt wasn’t too happy to let you behind because you’re first his girlfriend and second you tend to overthink about what others think of you and your appearance. You still hadn’t managed to get to a healthy weight, and he hoped that you didn’t lose any more again.

As if Missing Newt wasn’t enough, you also had a pretty bad day. First you overslept and came late to work then you realized that you’ve forgotten your wallet so you couldn’t buy yourself something for breakfast and neither for lunch. After that you had an argument with your boss and as a result, he gave you even more work that you had to finish. When you were finished you walked home. Before you could take your wand out and conjure an umbrella it started pouring. Finally at home, you walked past the mirror in the hallway and couldn’t stop yourself to think you’ve gained too much weight over the past months. Sighing you walked in your bedroom to change into a shirt of Newt and a pair of sweatpants and then laid on your bed. You took the letters that from Newt from your nightstand and started reading them all over again like so many times before. Deep in your thoughts you didn’t hear the door opening and closing again. “Hello, Love. “, called an all too familiar voice, that you missed so much. You looked up and saw your boyfriend standing in the doorway with his shy smile. You wasted no time in getting up and throwing your arms around him, which made him chuckle softly. “I missed you!”, you exclaimed happily. Newt replied. “, I missed you too.”, as he wrapped his arms around you and laid his cheek on your head after he placed a kiss to it.  After a while Newt pulled away a little to look at you. “Hey, you’ve gained weight. You loo- “, at that your face dropped immediately and Newt interrupted himself when he saw that. You were aware that you’ve gained weight but hearing it from another person especially from Newt was an entire other thing. You felt tears build up, close to drop. “Hey sweetheart, what’s wrong?”, you just stormed out of your bedroom leaving his question unanswered as tears started to fall. Newt was left to stand there completely confused. He started to think over what he could’ve done wrong. Soon it hit him. Of course you would think he meant, that you would be too thick but that’s definitely not what he meant by what he said. He was trying to say that you looked way better and a lot healthier than he had ever seen you. He quickly got out of the room and called your name, but you didn’t answer. He looked in every room until he heard someone sobbing softly. Quickly he went in that direction to see you hiding behind the kitchen island with your arms around your legs and your head laying on your knees. And the worst you were crying because of him. “(Y/n).” , he sadly called you. You looked up and Newt saw your already red eyes and tears streaming down your cheeks. “Go away, Newt!”, coldness mixed with a little anger overtook your normally sweet and calming voice.

Normally he would now hug you and comfort you at moments like this but now he didn’t know what to do because he was the reason why you were upset. But he finally decided to hug you and comfort you. He slowly came closer like he would with a newfound creature of his. When you didn’t move away, he reached out to you and pulled you into his chest holding you tightly as you started crying even more. He held you like that pressing multiple gentle kisses on your hairline.  “I’m so sorry, (Y/n). You misunderstood me. I didn’t mean you’re gained too much weight. I meant that you look a lot healthier. And I’m so proud of you for that.”, he calmly explained. “Are you sure?”, your broken voice hurt Newt even more. He took his hands and placed them on your shoulders pulling you away slightly, so he can look in your now red puffy eyes. “I really do. I promise. “, he assured as he let his hands wander down at your sides to your waist. What he didn’t expect is that you jumped and squeaked at his touch on your ribs. Although you were dating for quite a while Newt didn’t know that you were really ticklish.

He shortly looked confused, but his expression quickly turned into a smile. As he began tickling you now purposefully making you laugh uncontrollably. „Please, Newt stop. “, you begged between laughter. „Hmm. “, he paused for a bit to let you breathe again, „I don’t think so. I love to hear your laugh too much. “, he confessed as he now attacked your stomach making you toss and turn trying to get out of his grip, but it had no use. „Please, Newt. I can’t anymore. “, you tried again. „Only if you promise to be happy again. “, he negotiated.

„Fine.”

“Promise?”, he asked tickling you one last time on your stomach drawing another laugh from you. “I promise. Just please stop.”

“Alright, I will stop. For now.”, his smile grew at the last part, and he pressed a sweet kiss to your forehead.
