The Errand Girl
'If you wish to know more, I advise you look out for a colorful haired girl. She travels a lot, and may have seen something that might help ya.' 'Apologies, but I don't know much about this Dark Lord. Maybe you can go ask the errand girl?' 'Dark Lord? Yeah, I know a few things. The Rose girl may be able to help you better though.' 'The errand girl' is that everyone in every town calls the one with the information. She travels a lot, or so everyone says, constantly on the move and not staying more than a few days in a town, a week at most. That's who Y/N was looking for at the moment, not forgetting to ask others just in case they know a thing or two about the Dark Lord. The information is not much, if anything the same, but it's still something!
Finding this errand girl was not as easy as Y/N thought. When asking about where she is, the people would often say 'Oh, you just missed her! She had helped me out just earlier!' and they were back to square one AGAIN. Y/N spent a good two days looking for this girl but she always evaded them last minute. It's like the universe was against them! Thankfully, she hasn't left town yet, or so they have been told by the townspeople. Nobody knew where she went afterwards, she always chose random towns to hit next.
"Agh! I can't find this girl! It's like the universe is trying to keep her away!" Y/N complained in a tavern.
"Looking for someone?" The tavern owner asked as he cleaned up the table.
"I am but I just can't seem to catch her! Every time I ask someone about this errand girl, people tell me she just finished helping them!" Y/N said as they put their head on the table. "Seriously, I won't find her before she leaves town..."
"You talking about Gin Rose? Oh, that girl is always working her butt off helping others!" The tavern owner said with a chuckle.
"You know her?" Y/N asked, looking up.
"Who doesn't! She always takes the jobs people don't want in exchange for some coin or some food. And you may be in luck." The tavern owner said as the tavern doors were pushed open.
"Hey Mr. Tavern Owner sir! I got your packages! They go in the back right?" An unfamiliar voice exclaimed.
A girl with bright hair the colors of pink, purple and blue had arrived, her skin a dark tan, eyes a bright green color, a dark red crop top, jean shorts, matching leather thigh high boots and gloves, a necklace hidden under her shirt and some bandages wrapped around her left arm, having a reddish orange bag with her. So THIS was the errand girl!
"That's her?" Y/N asked as the girl went to the back of the tavern to put the packages away.
"In the flesh! She always helps me out when she's in town, in exchange for some food." The tavern owner said as the girl came back.
"Hey hey, so you're the one who's been asking for me?? I heard the people talk about a traveler asking for the errand girl, aka moi!" The girl said as she sat next to Y/N. "Name's Gin Rose, is nice to meet ya stranger!"
"I am Y/N, it's nice to meet you too." Y/N said as they thought "She has a lot of energy!" "Okay, tell me, why can I be of service to ya? Need a letter be delivered? Package? Did the wheels from your wagon all fall out and the things keeping it together broke when it did and now you need help getting new ones but can't cause you have some business to attend to in town??" Gin rambled on as she kept eye contact with Y/N.
"...Uhhhh..." Y/N was... speechless.
"Haha! I am just kidding. That did happen though, total pain in the neck but the money was good at least!" Gin said. "Seriously though, ya need my help with something?"
"Oh, yes! I have heard from the towns I have visited that you travel quite often and that you may have some information about the, well, Dark Lord." Y/N explained, the errand girl raising an eyebrow.
"Ha, the Dark Lord huh? Yeah, I have heard rumors about 'em in some towns, nothing concrete though." Gin mumbled as she pushed her hair back. "Brings back a memory, although it is kinda blurry, childhood memory."
"Can you at least remember a little bit?" Y/N asked.
"Hmmm, I remember it was dark. And cold, I lived more on the north, usually almost snowing. I strayed away from my hometown and met... someone." Gin said as she scratched her head. "Someone, someone... can't remember who or how they looked like but... they felt kinda off ya know?"
"Off?" Y/N questioned.
"Yeah, like... I wouldn't particularly say evil, but it wasn't totally good either. Sorry dude, but my mind is not very reliable when it comes to childhood memories." Gin said. "I could try and get some information on the Dark Lord for you in other towns though! I am quite fast when traveling so it wouldn't be much of a problem."
"You'd do that?" Y/N asked, surprised.
"I like adventure! And yeah, helping people out is nice but I need more action than just helping fix a wagon ya know?" Gin said with a shrug as she chuckled. "So what do ya say? Is it okay for me to help out?"
"Yes! Of course! Thank you so much!" Y/N said, quite excited to have gained a new friend.
“Oh, and to help ya out, here!” Gin said as she rummaged through her bag and brought out a necklace that had a single, shimmering scale that went from pink, to purple to blue and then to green depending where the light hits it. “It may not look like much but it is very useful! And we match!” The colorful haired girl then showed the necklace hidden in her shirt, which had an identical scale to the one she gave Y/N, who was quite intrigued by it.
The two continued chatting about their travels and throwing around theories about the Dark Lord left and right for a few hours before they went their separate day, that being the last day Gin was to stay in town. No one knows where she'll go but Y/N knows they'll meet her again eventually.

(And das done! This scenario I imagine would happen before Y/N meets the Furious Four. Of course, this ain't canon, just a silly lil thing I made to include my OC Gin. Hope it was fun to read tho!)

When their blood makes contact with mortal flesh, it burns through it like acid, leaving glowing scars that never heal, or make crystals grow and potentially the human losing their limb when it becomes unresponsive. Some say this is a curse placed upon the dragons to prevent their power from being misused by mortals.
Soundless Roar: When an Aurora Dragon roars, instead of the traditional deafening sound, a strange, haunting silence spreads through the air. The roar creates an intense pressure that causes the surrounding environment to tremble, as though the fabric of reality itself were bending to their will.
Breath of Illusions: While their colorful and fiery breath can blind and burn their opponents, Aurora Dragons also have the ability to use a smoke that creates vivid illusions. Those caught within it may see mirages of distant lands, loved ones, or terrifying visions, disorienting and confusing them.
• The Four Flames: Aurora Dragons possess the ability to wield up to four special flames: pink, purple, green, and blue. Each flame varies in strength, with pink being the weakest and blue the most potent. Though these dragons can master all the flames, the green flame remains the most elusive. Despite not being the strongest, green is deeply entwined with ancient magic, making it the most challenging to control. This connection to magic adds to the mystique and power of the Aurora Dragons, reflecting their celestial origins and enigmatic nature.

Legends tell that where the blood of an Aurora Dragon touches the earth, a miraculous ore grows—one imbued with the light of the auroras. Whether it be grass, stone, or barren ice, these glowing crystals rise from the ground, pulsing with the colors of the heavens. It is said that those who find and hold such a crystal are blessed with untold power, yet few are brave or lucky enough to witness such an event.
The origins of these enigmatic dragons are shrouded in mystery. Some believe they once lived among the stars, radiant guardians of the skies. In ancient times, they were thought to be dying stars, whose light had not yet faded, casting themselves down from the heavens before their time. Upon their fall, they took the form of dragons, their celestial essence preserved in the ever-shifting light of their scales.
Their eggs, too, are a marvel beyond compare, resembling glowing gems—crystalline orbs that emit soft, colorful light, reminiscent of the auroras themselves. In that moment of brilliance, the dragon emerges, fully formed, while the egg itself dissolves into nothing, leaving no trace of its existence.
Aurora Dragons are said to be beings of pure light, able to harness and manipulate it for their own purposes. Some believe that when all the colors of their flames unite, a portal to another realm may open—a realm where light reigns eternal and darkness has no hold. Yet, this remains a tale unproven, a rumor passed down through generations.

Anyway, I like imagining Gin would enjoy eating rose quartz with Sun, not to the same extent as red gems but still like them quite a bit. And I sort of imagine her clocking Sun and Moon as not human or elves due to their sent. Like, yeah, it is not noticeable to the normal nose but dragon noses be strong so she may be able to make out Sun’s earthy, golem scent (much different than the scent of humans covered in dirt, it actually comes from his body) and the sea scent that comes off Moon’s body. She wouldn't exactly know what they are but knows they not human. Or elves.
More facts:
• In some other versions of mine, she able to separate into three separate beings. • In half dragon form, she is like 7 feet tall • Has very much sold her scales as jewelry or something after she sheds a lot of old ones • Her favorite meat be chicken (salmon be a close contender)
• She would either eat them raw or cooked, doesn’t matter to her as much as she can go feral on it • Favorite gem be red diamond (goes feral cause it be so damn tasty) • She loves headpats and chin scratches, she like a cat but a ✨reptile✨ • She has a sweet tooth • Has eaten metal before • Her smol form be very holdable • She likes showing off her flames a lot • Body heat is pretty high cause dragon and likes to lay in the sun sometimes
I feel like Sun and Moon would actually see her a lot in different towns since she is always traveling but it would be a long while before they properly meet each other. (heheh, Sun probably tried to approach her once but she was going feral on some chicken and so he backed away… very slowly)
Makes sense she could tell they're not human/elf because of their scent! And nice to have even more little tidbits!! Again, the colors are very pretty! Thank you for sharing!

Have dragon girl! I am unable to draw full on dragon forms so you get a half form (I wish I could do those better, I apologize 😭)
This be Gin Rose the Bounty Hunter (more an errand girl than anything honestly-)! She would just take any job that offers money for food (mostly meat), pretty jewels and basic necessities. She is a thief as well tho, so she may steal stuff from people, more often the rich. She is always traveling, either on foot or flying, usually on foot since she prefers to hide her dragon heritage. She goofy af but quite capable and good at her craft.
Frankly, I am unable to classify her as a dragon type of anything but I have some facts about her:
• She eats gems (loves the red ones especially) • Has extremely sharp teeth, even in human form
• Very good sense of smell
• I can imagine her dragon scales be very tough and stuff • Her fire is usually a pink color but can go up to blue with enough concentration • Her scales are supposed to be multi colored, each in pink, purple and blue but I have never drawn scales before so it kinda sucks since this the best I could give • In my own AUs, she is able to go into a big dragon form or a smol dragon form, usually using the smol one to steal.
• She loves shiny stuff • She can PURR (cause I love dragons that purr)
• Her scales would make for some pretty jewelry tbh
As I said, don’t got a clue on what type of dragon I am to classify her as since she is a bit random and stuff.

Awesome! Love to know about dragons in different AUs! Hope me rambling about them doesn't bother you but I love them so much. Are dragons rare in your AU's world or more common than thought? How would Sun and Moon feel if they met one, like, in a human disguise and is friendly and such? Would they be chill or nah? (I feel like a bit of nah in Moon's part, mostly cause of the human disguise, idk-) (I may be cooking up a dragon drawing of my OC for this, hope you don't mind!)

Dragons are actually quite common!(though some go unnoticed) There are many different kinds. Big ones, small ones, terrestrial, tree climbing, or sea dwelling. Many have element powers, most commonly fire though
They'd probably act like they regularly do towards others, as they may not even notice that the person is actually a dragon. Sun would be his bubbly self as usual and Moon would be... Moon (if the boys knew, Moon would be a slightly less grumpy at them)

Okay, medieval AU seems very cool and I love Sun and Moon’s backstories! Golems, sea angels, that’s awesome, love a good fantasy setting and creatures! What I wanna ask though is, dragons! In some forms of fiction and stuff, dragons can shift into humans and stuff, so I wanted to ask if the dragons in your AU do the same? Or if they are unable to and always in full on dragon form? Basically asking if they have the same intelligence as humans, being able to talk, understand other people, etc.
(Totally not asking because I have a version of a character that be a dragon, noooo- *lies*)

It depends on the type or species! Some are incredibly intelligent (naturally sentient dragons), and others are no more than animals(wild dragons)! But sometimes the wild dragons can have spells bound on them to give them the intelligence of a human, or maybe their souls are mixed with a soul from an intelligent creature to make them sentient.
As for the naturally sentient dragons, most can shape-shift, as dragons are very powerful with magic. And yes, most, if not, all can speak. Some have even been reported to use telekinesis to talk with others.

Like, Joan would be confused by Tsubame's antics since my girl only understands Swedish and as Haxa, she actually understands her and is honestly just annoyed (Bonus: I like imagining Tsubame and Lucy being the only ones to notice DeerWoman!Joan is very much NOT human while the others don't. Differences between Joans
Got bored so I am making a list of facts about OG Joan and Deer Joan as to show the differences between the two. * OG Joan originates from Sweden while Deer Joan originates from Native America * OG Joan is around 6'2 feet tall while Deer Joan (in human diguise) is around 6'7, however, she hunches a lot * OG Joan always looks tired or mad, sometimes sad, while Deer Joan's face seems to be stuck in an unreadable expression, never blinking. Sometimes though, it will change to an angry look if she sees someone being hostile to a vulnerable human. * OG Joan is pretty fit under her outfit while Deer Joan is more skinny underneath, and of course some parts of her body may be longer or less human than the OG. * OG Joan is in her 30s, Deer Joan has been around for much MUCH longer. * OG Joan doesn't have any weaknesses against anything that is unusual, she still gets sick, injured, etc, while Deer Joan is weak to silver and special runes. * OG Joan has trust issues due to trauma while Deer Joan is just not accostumed to being around humans a lot, in a friendly environment that is. * OG Joan's voice would sound like Mitsuki Bakugo's and so would Deer Joan's but she would take pauses between sentences to get the words right. * OG Joan has a normal human appearance while Deer Joan looks more uncanny valley, lips a bit too long, eyes too wide, teeth too sharp, arms too long, etc. * OG Joan would use weapons while Deer Joan just uses her claws * OG Joan is familiar about different spirits due to her sisters always taking about them while Deer Joan is more unfamiliar and curious when meeting a certain red fox one (hehe) * OG Joan dies of sickness while Deer Joan dies in a fire. -------- And now just some facts about Deer Joan! * Her favorite thing to eat are literal human hearts but any other kind of meat will suffice * If she heard someone scream or cry, it will trigger her instincts * She is curious about human hair, her own just doesn't feel the same * Whenever she wishes to rest, she goes to a nearby forest and turns into a deer form to sleep * She has a soft spot for women and children * Her eyes turn black when enraged * She bleeds an unknown black liquid * Wears long pants to hide her deer feet but they too long so she often stumbles * Same with the sleeves, they long enough to hide her claws * She is surprisingly gentle when calm * Would be willing to accept headpats * And have her face squeezed, although she be confused **The Häxa hat is technically still the same, ish, difference is that the wearer will be able to connect with spirits around her on a deeper level and the spirit that be connected to it instead of being a Bakeneko, it be a Wendigo. Oh, and the hat gonna have antlers lol**
**Plus, they still fall in love with Finja and vice versa, even if Deer Joan is a monster (monster lovers, heheheheh)**

So like, there isn’t much about First Ninja in the show, not even a name for him (my friend and I call him Yoshi lol-). So I am curious, what hcs do you have of him, as a civilian?

Ok so my kid had an ear infection, right? As kids often do.
The doctor scraped out a bit of earwax to have a better look inside.
I was sent a bill for $200 PER EAR for this 5 second procedure which I did not give permission for them to do.
That was key- they did not ASK me if they could do this "procedure". And, as I OWN a medical practice (it's me. The medical practice is me, sitting in my house on video calls) I knew to call them when this bill came in to be like "You did not obtain informed consent for this procedure, and it was not en emergency procedure. You had full ability to gain my consent and didn't. I'm not paying."
And the massive hospital who owned the bill said "yuh-huh you do have to pay."
And I said "I own a practice. I know these laws. I do not owe you money for this."
And they conducted an "internal review" and SURPRISE! Decided I totally owed them money and they had never done anything wrong ever.
And so I called my state's Attorney General office, and explained the situation because, as I mentioned, I know the law. The AG got in touch within a couple days to say they were taking the case and would send the massive hospital conglomerate a knock it off, guys letter.
Lo and Behold, today I have a letter where said hospital graciously has agreed to forfeit the payment.
"How not to get screwed over by companies" should be part of civics class.
Know your rights and know who to call when they're infringed on. This whole process cost me $0 and honestly less effort than I would have expected.
May this knowledge find its way to someone else who can use it.
