So, I am not sure if you have already talked about it, but do you think that Endeavour's death is a possibility? I have seen others write about it and the manga looks like is kind of heading there( only in my opinion). I love your account and I trust everything you say about mha💖 Even tho I don't think his death will do any good for Shoto's mental health, also I am not keen on him dying after his realization, I really want to see him as a good father in the future, but I see some hints about his death, so I would like to hear your opinion.

I actually think it’s not very likely he’ll die.

There was an extremely popular expectation in fandom that he’d end up “dying with his bad decisions” in some murder-suicide scenario with Touya. But luckily the narrative didn’t go in that direction.

I still see a slim chance that he and Touya dies together in some big sacrifice for the civilians / their family, but I find it much much more likely that Endeavor will live and so will Touya, giving the Todoroki family a hopeful ending.

Even though I don’t love every decision HK made with Endeavor, I do like that he never gave him an easy out and rather put him on a humiliating, often undignified rocky path of atonement not hiding how hard it is.

I don’t think he’ll throw it away and the latest chapter confirms it for me. Even Endeavor himself doesn’t expect some heroic death, but rather living out his life trying to make up for his mistakes.

I don’t think he’ll stay a hero until the end. He may retire or even may become a teacher at UA (as his proto-design).

I picture his ending being the cringest supportive dad yelling Shotooooo at Class A’s graduation and taking care of Touya (whatever that may entail).

Ok, I really really love this page. I love the recall to Endeavor figuring out his mission as No 1 during the remedial class, watching Shouto with the kids, not being above everyone in a different world in a powerful demonstration of strength, but simply sharing the joys and comfort of his quirk.
