“ So I was your second choice. Of course, I’m always the second choice, and I’m so tired of it. I don’t know if I can be another person’s second choice.”

Suga was furious. He wasn’t yelling, but his voice was raised and venom seemed to be dripping from his voice. He had found out that you went on a date not even twenty-four hours before going on one with him.

“You were never a second choice to me, yo-”

“Oh sorry, a safety net, a backup, a pity case.”

The only thing you could hear in his voice was sarcasm.

“It wasn’t like that and if you let me finish”

“ I don’t need to hear you say it to know it’s true. I’m a second choice to you”

Tired of trying to explain and being interrupted, so you gave up and let your emotions take over. Your voice raised, tear’s flowed, voice crack’s escaped while you expressed your own feelings.

“At least you’re second. I don’t even have a number. I’ve liked you for so long, but I never even got a shot. When Dachi, your first choice rejected you, you moved to Kiyoko, then you moved on to some girl in your class, after that you went out with my science partner, I WAS LITERALLY RIGHT THERE WHEN YOU ASKED THEM OUT. And when that didn’t work out you moved on to Oikawa, he doesn’t even go to our school. But now that you’ve asked me out, I’m supposed to feel bad because I was trying to move on after a year of pinning. I’m sorry that I made you feel like the second choice, but you were always number one in my heart, but I can’t deal with this. Maybe the reason that your a second choice is because that how you see yourself. Or maybe you like the pity.”

You take a breath and wipe the tears from your face. Then calmly said your exiting line

“Goodbye, Sugawara. Maybe the seventh person will treat you like the number one you think you deserve.”

You walked out of the restaurant, accepting that sixth place doesn’t belong with a silver medal holder.

I got a job so stuff might come out slower. The next fic post will be the last chapter of "The unkissable prince"
