headcannon that gojo satoru doesn't cry often, but when he does it's always full on sobbing

"i'm home.." you called out tiredly, taking off your shoes and hanging your coat.

"welcome back, hun!" satoru responded from the kitchen. "how was work?" he asked.

"tiring. the curse was annoying, kept splitting into smaller versions of itself when i tried attacking it." you said, walking behind him and wrapping your arms around his waist, leaning into his back.

"yeah, i bet.." he started, almost done preparing the meal. "how 'bout you shower and we can eat and watch a movie or something. what was that one you wanted to watch? lala loopsy, or something?" he continued.

"lala land?" you asked?

"yeah, yeah! that one! is it any good?" he responded.

"i don't know satoru, i haven't seen it either." you say with a laugh "let's watch it together after i shower." you add, pulling away.

"okay, i'll be done by then." satoru responds.

after showering, you both finish your meal and watch the movie.

"ooh, i've heard this song before!" satoru exclaims, upon hearing mia and sebastian's theme.

"yeah, me too, i like it." you say, already feeling tired, you had a long day after all. you lean towards satoru to rest your head on his shoulder, closing your eyes for a bit.

"falling asleep already? you're the one who wanted to watch this." he said, wrapping his arm around your shoulder and pulling you closer.

"i'm just resting my eyes." you explain with a yawn.

that was a lie. fifteen minutes later and you were out cold, the events from the day taking a toll on your body.

upon noticing, satoru pulls the blanket to wrap around you and rests his head on yours. "g'night hun." he whispers, deciding to finish the movie on his own.
