Brigadier General Joshua Chamberlain
Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain (1828-1914) is best known for leading the 20th Maine Infantry Regiment in defending Little Round Top on the second day of the Battle of Gettysburg. After repulsing multiple Confederate assaults, suffering heavy casualties and running low on ammunition, he ordered a bayonet charge that disorganized the attacking Confederates and secured the Union's left flank. For his actions, he was awarded the Medal of Honor.

(design by @gjf-productions i kina forgot to add this when i initally posted this)
i was all like "im feeling a little tired from modelling Wells, so i'll take a short little break and take a peek at whats going on on the wotw tag" and then i had the most heart attack to ever heart attack the oment i saw the.... let me check. THE TRIPODETTE yeah that little character. No idea why i had that reaction, though it feels a little bit familiar. Though i often get that feeling, so it could just be nothing. Very nice design nonetheless !

also-also, when i was making this the armless version reminded my of my own tripod design that i swear i'll get to drawing one day.
I think its because my tripod design was made in the likeness of the human torso, to mimic that "leisurely parody of the human stride" that H. G. described their movement as in The Thunder-Child chapter.
