if i had a nickel for every time my favorite installment in a source of media was absolutely hated for being “bad” and “untrue to the original source” because it’s different than the others and wrapped in a bright color palette despite being just as dark and horrifying thematically (if not more so in some ways), id have two nickels. anyways it took a little bit for people to come around about danger days, hopefully as more gets added in, the same will happen for security breach
