I haven’t made too much visible progress on my project, so have this little animation instead!

Update 5.
Quick little update! I finally finished documenting all of my code, so I’ll get back to programming now. Here’s a really early prototype for how the fire version of the chicken will look like! I really like how the crest looks like when it goes upwards, but I need to make the transition smoother.
Also, if you don’t know about it, you should give Obsidian a try! It’s a free program for personal use to write notes about anything. I’m just using it to document my project in case I get lost at some point, and it’s super useful because it lets you link related notes!

Update 4.
I am messing around with spawning entities! We got some chickens with really basic AI to chase the character. I think I’ll probably start building the map next! I’m tired of seeing that Cornflower Blue screen all the time.

Update 3.
I didn’t get too much done in the programming side of things other than improving how I normalize my vectors and adding timers, so all I can show is the back animation of the chicken! I think I’ll add it to the game screen next and have it wander around now just to experiment with sprite sheets.
