UPDATE: NORTH GAZA!
Because of the dire situation and famine in North Gaza, our friend Hussam from Rafah decided to keep helping by directing 20% of all donation (starting March 11) to Mahmoud AbuSalama and his team in the North who were able to buy all what you see in his video above. The conditions are worse than ever, there is no food, there is no water, there is no shelter, there is no power. We only have 1% of the picture on the ground now. It is extremely likely that 90-95% of Ghazzah's infrastructure has been destroyed.
Do not content yourselves by saying 30 000 Palestinians have been killed. The damage is far far larger than this.

So apparently KOSA (2024 edition) is getting either thrown out until next year or put into effect in six days.

Either shut down permanently, forced to uproot to a different country and down for a while (best case scenario, and they likely won't be able to send any data, and therefore fanfics, to the US), or gutted so that you only get to put G rated cishet ships on there, if any shipping at all. How to avoid that? I've already said it: Call your fucking representatives.
Want to avoid the fucking dystopic task of being legally obligated to give big tech your government issue ID? Again, cause an uproar. Call your goddamned representatives.
If they can pass this, the ripple effects could be catastrophic.
So, for fuck's sake, any Americans that can impact this stupid fucking bill and see this? Do everything in your power to shut it down because you have until February twenty sixth (26th) to send this bill back to where it belongs.

no one tells you how disorienting it is to start a new minecraft world after having a different one where you either have really op weapons or you got used to not having to deal with hostile mobs
in one of my modded save files i have a REALLY good fully enchanted sword that does damage without even having to swing it, on top of fire aspect and sharpness and doing more damage than netherite when it's even unenchanted.
and in my regular vanilla save i live in an underground bunker, so while i had to deal with mobs for like. the first hour or two of construction, once it was lit up i never had to sleep unless i planned on going to the surface to collect wood or something.
so a couple days ago i started a new modded world and i decided i was gonna live above ground and try to actually build a house for once. so ive been sleeping every time night comes around because i can't be asked to hunt for diamonds for better armor. and well...
i was so caught up in the bliss of actually trying to build a house instead of just running around and exploring that i managed to forget creepers exist.
so my first run in was with during a day where i had let night go long enough to spawn some hostile mobs before i went to sleep, and while running around trying to collect wood i hear a hiss behind me. cobblemon is included in the modpack im playing so i just automatically assume its a pokemon, turn around to see which one it is, and come face to face with a creeper. after i REALIZED what it was i immediately booked it in the other direction.
the second time was when i was working on my house and really couldn't be asked to sleep at that moment and i assumed the area was well lit enough to not spawn mob, but apparently. it was not. a creeper blew up in my face and i DIDN'T EVEN SEE IT. just stood there in shock after the explosion and then slept
