Happy 7th Anniversary with Zabaniyya
Zabaniyya:
-With the party well underway at the Missionaries safehouse, it seemed everyone was putting their all into having a good time. It was one of the few rare occurrences you got to see individuals like Arsalan and Azazel let loose a bit more than what you’re used to seeing. You’ve even spotted Maria and Gabriel hitting it off and that brought a smile to your face. What you were surprised by though was spotting Zabaniyya standing alone awkwardly to the sides by his lonesome. Feeling a bit bad about letting him just stand off to the sides, you went over to him and greeted him with a warm smile. You asked how he was enjoying the party. “Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. That’s all I can ask for.” He smiled. You asked him if all he’s been doing is standing around and watching everyone. “No… while I’m currently standing by, I assure you I was just mingling a moment ago.”
-You teasingly said he better have been saving himself for you in that case, and the two of you chuckled it off. You wouldn’t believe it, but over the years Zabaniyya had definitely mellowed out for the better. “I have you to thank for that, of course. Throughout everything you’ve always supported and helped me when I needed it most.” He also always knew how to pepper the compliments and make you blush. The angel Transient smiled softly. “I love seeing you make that face. I always feel like I’m making the right decision when you smile like that.”
-You asked Zabaniyya to dial back the praise a bit as you were starting to get a bit flustered. “Oh? Have I finally broken through your facade then?” He laughed again. You grumbled about him just teasing you and muttered something along the lines of him being cute enough to get a pass. “I hope you’ll pardon my sharp tongue. Perhaps it’s something I picked up along the way.” You said for him not to sweat it and that you’re just happy he’s expressing more of himself. That’s all you could really want at the end of the day.
Happy 7th Anniversary with Nomad!
Nomad:
-The night had a bit of a brisk feeling to it, and a light breeze to go with it. An evening like this was perfect for a small get together with a few friends at your place. Things had gone swimmingly so far with everyone enjoying themselves on the few party snacks and drinks you had laid out while chatting amongst themselves. One of your guests, however, had stepped outside for a bit. Seeing everyone else pretty tame and collected you figured it wouldn’t hurt to go check on him. Grabbing two preset plastic cups you followed him outside and you weren’t surprised at all. The tiger man was simply relaxing outside having a light huff of his cigarette- that smoky breath drifting off into the breeze. You approached from behind and said his name. He simply scoffed in response. “Heh, party boring ya already?” You flirted a bit and said it wasn’t really a party without him. “Even after all this time you've got that silver tongue of yours.” You couldn’t help it. Plus it really hadn’t felt like as much time passed as it did. You wondered even if it’s been that long. “Seven years is a pretty long ass time.” He stated flatly.
-You both shared a quiet moment together basking in the chilling evening air, just taking in the environment and each other's company. You did nestle a bit closer to Nomad as the cold began to seep under your clothes and he nonchalantly gave you enough room to nestle against him. You teased him about not getting annoyed like he usually does. “I figured we’ve known each other long enough now. ‘Sides, it’s just us out here.” Nomad shrugged as the two of you cuddled close. To you it’s hardly been any time at all. “Well to me it felt like a million years.” The tiger man grumbled as he took another huff of his cigarette. “You ain’t exactly easy to take care of, ya know?” You pouted and insisted that you weren’t that bad. He laughed at your reaction. “It’s a good thing you’re cute.”
-You face became a bit flushed and you buried it against his arm. He smirked and two of you enjoyed the tranquility each of your presences brought. You hoped to spend plenty more nights like this with Nomad…
