Studying Methods... Any Suggestions?

Studying methods... any suggestions?

 As I will soon start my new semester (only 2 weeks left :O), I thought it would be a great idea to start preparing myself so I could start on the right foot.

So, I am looking for new study methods that would help me improve the way I study my nursing subjects.

Last year I didn't really have any study method. All I did was read what I needed to read and write down almost everything (Which is DEFINITELY not the best way to learn, I guarantee you that!)  and calling it “a summary of my lectures” (which it was not. It was purely copy/paste from the book). I did this mostly for my nursing subjects. After a while, I wasn't motivated to continue my lectures and gave up easily. I want to change that. 

So, fellow studyblr and nurblr, I would forever appreciate if you guys help me with your growing wisdom on this matter. Tell me guys, what methods do you personally use? Which are the ones that work the best for you? Do you see good results when you study that certain way? I want to know! and thank you so much for your infinite help.

now that i’ve resigned myself to living in my parents house while i finish my degree i’ve spent the last few months trying to make my room a little more like somewhere i actually want to live and work in & i finally feel like i finished this clutterbug space last night i’m v happy  ´ ▽ ` )
