While I was catching up on your recent artwork, I ended up having 2 ideas/questions for your St Olga AU. First of, may I ask what's Toffee like in this AU? Is he still after Star/Lady? And if so, what's his reaction on Lady and Sol's brainwashed condition?

I would say the same manipulative mastermind as canon, Lady’s wand being cleaved can be ambiguous so a writer/artist may place Toffee as whole or as a wand/severed hand. Whatever suits their purposes best. If their brainwashed condition can be used to his advantage I’m sure he would capitalize on it. 

I did do a comic slightly touching the topic. 

In that scenario, he was glad to have the Rebel Princess and her ‘sidekick’ out of the way, pushing his host towards a different direction. It can be read that he was content with keeping a ‘threat’ out of the way. Or that there was more pressing things to get to, like maybe they hadn’t gotten the spellbook yet etc. 

But one should also consider that this comic was thought of before the S2 finale, and Toffee has been shown to be obscenely powerful. We were also given the new info that he’s after his finger, and we’re not sure where that went canon-wise.(Did it stay in the Diaz guest room closet or leave with Star??) 

If we’re in a scenario where Lady does still have Toffee’s finger, I’m not gonna underestimate the kind of damage he may do to her just to get it. But it’s also important to consider the what, where and when. There’s plenty of room to believe that Star maybe the only one strong and/or creative enough to defeat Toffee. I have depicted Lady on some occasions of being obscenely powerful herself. (that maybe a separate piece in it’s own right)

But for now, here’s some angst. Thank you for your patience.

I honestly forgot about SVTFOE until just recently when one of my most fave artists (which is you btw :) ) began uploading a buncha new comics/art! I can’t wait for the finished product! :D

Second idea/question, how exactly did Tom get caught in the brainwashed group? My only idea is he and Marco worked together to rescue Lady and ended up getting caught... I'm really interested in seeing that in comic form if you have the time of course.

I think with these comic requests and/or bigger requests I’m gonna start showing my progress(no matter how small) to better express that I’m not ignoring and/or blowing off stuff. Or the very least as a show that I’m not dead. 

I greatly appreciate the St.O!Tom request since I had/still have been itching to do more stuff with the demon in this scenario. Thank you for your patience.

Hello again! I really loved how you made my request looked, sorry if it's a bit too challenging though :). Anyways may I ask, if we go by that ending how would it's epilougue or afterstory turn out since the other ends technically has epilogues? Just curious, also, does it count as a good or bad ending? Bittersweet perhaphs?

Ya bittersweet is a good label for it. Star regains herself and her freedom, but Marco. is well…Gone, for lack of a better word. After the St.O’s closing there wouldn’t be many places for “Soldier” to go afterwards.

(Saint Olga’s probably isn’t the only brainwash-happy place in the multiverse. Not to mention the horrible potential for forbidden knowledge and/or sanity twisting eldritch encounters.)Personally, I don’t think Star would abandon her bestie. I bet the Diaz’s wouldn’t abandon their son, even under these circumstances, they would probably want him home even more. :(

A hat helps with hiding certain scars. Some denial and/or blind optimism may come into play in the earlier days. It was admittedly a tad creepy seeing the Mewni Princess escorting her now-robotic-like friend around. 

But Star isn’t dumb. He never responds to “Marco” anymore, just “Soldier” but it doesn’t stop her from trying to connect. They’re basically strangers aside from what Star remembers(which barely applies now), and whatever “Soldier” knows of “Star Butterfly” in his database.

“Heeeeeeey, you’re letting your hair grow out!”

“That protocol was becoming dated your Highness, it felt appropriate to…upgrade.” 

It can get worse, and/or it can get better. Guess the above material leans towards the latter, but I like to keep things open. Thank you for your patience.
