Procrastinating My Drawing To Post Photos Of My Drawings.

Procrastinating my drawing to post photos of my drawings.
Work-in-progress of a small look at Finneley's garden. I tried to draw actual flowers and it's turned out to be quite fun.
Landscapes have been something I've been too scared to do because of the detail I felt was needed if I did it with colored pencils.
I had the fun thought to scan this whenever I finish it so that I can use it as a background for some traditional animation. But we'll see how it goes.
Happy drawing! I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday 🌞❤️🌹❤️🌞

It’s more Regency era, but close enough I guess. Found this list on Pinterest, and figured it would be good practice for being able to replicate Christopher in many ways. And it’s just fun too! 😋

Quick repost of side-by-side drawing and reference

Watched Logan recently and it blew me away! Hugh Jackman’s performance of old Logan was amazing and, personally, this was Hugh at his best and finest. So, naturally, I had to scour the internet for photos to draw.

Yay, actually decided on what my OC Christopher from my soon-to-be-realized comic The Raven Prince will look like!!!!!
I’ve been thinking about this project for so long, but couldn’t get myself to sit down and draw my characters (in all honesty, I do have quite a few ...).
But with Autodesk’s many free brush sets, I was able to tinker around and find something I truly love. Without it, I would have never have thought of giving Christopher freckles (though since the comic will be colored in grayscale, I’m curious how I’m going to render them).
So happy! ... though, I’m not so sure about the size and shape of his eyes yet.

First post of 2018! YAY!
(but it’s already May ............ woops)
Experimenting with Autodesk Sketchbook and these schnazzy little art figurines I got as a birthday gift. Here’s a link to show what they look like:

Start to finish didn’t take as long as I thought it would (though it was still probably about 2 hours). It seems I can be very efficient sketching-wise with the figurine, so that’s super neat.
Still not 100% satisfied with the coloring of his hair, but with time comes skill, I guess.
