Bought these wonderfully amazing water soluble brush pens from Arteza, and I AM OBSESSED. So, of course my first drawing with them had to be from Studio Ghibli.

A character that has been reoccurring in my dreams for some odd reason. He’s super sweet and always ready for an adventure.

Yay, actually decided on what my OC Christopher from my soon-to-be-realized comic The Raven Prince will look like!!!!!

I’ve been thinking about this project for so long, but couldn’t get myself to sit down and draw my characters (in all honesty, I do have quite a few ...).

But with Autodesk’s many free brush sets, I was able to tinker around and find something I truly love. Without it, I would have never have thought of giving Christopher freckles (though since the comic will be colored in grayscale, I’m curious how I’m going to render them).

So happy! ... though, I’m not so sure about the size and shape of his eyes yet. 

Tried taking some photos of my very scribbly and sketchy garden gate study, but it's too light and my phone camera can't focus in on it the way I want 😢.

Gonna just have to wait till I get my hands on a scanner to see if that works ... hopefully ...

Decided to try my hand at some landscaping. This is more or less my backyard, with some moments of artistic license ;). All done with a mechanical pencil, an eraser, and my fingers (I didn't have a Kleenex on me so I had to use my hand for smudging)

Some random doodles for a mini sketchdump. Haven't been very active lately (so sorry!!), but I think I feel my drawing juices coming back. Hope to be back again real soon!
