I’ve recently been chipping away at this gift for: @flickerintwilights and it’s not yet done but I just wanted to show my progress on it because I’m hella proud of it!

So first we have this linework that I’m going to show because holy SHIT did I nail Mineru’s gorget! This is when I realised that her gorget is an actual dragon and not just some random creature and I really leaned into it! It’s the best I’ve ever drawn her jewellery! This is also the best I’ve ever drawn her brightbloom “earring” bud I am still very proud of myself

I’m so proud of the lines in fact that I’m considering doing an alternate version of this where she’s painted in more softer, pastel tones so I can let the linework really be seen

Anyways speaking of colour:

I (basically) did all of the painting in 1 layer. I did this while sick and in this manic haze. I opened procreate and blacked out and 5 hours later had this on my screen lmao I have no idea how I did this
