Woke: They don't actually hate each other, Virgil is just mad that Janus forgot their anniversary one time.

Bespoke: They started pretending to hate each other so it would be easier for Virgil to get accepted, and now they're just seeing how long it takes Thomas and the other sides to notice that they've actually been dating this whole time.
