Not only did C!Wilbur spend 13 years in Limbo but he also had to watch in real time Tommy’s abuse at the hands of Dream and not be able to do a thing about it. /rp /dsmp

to be perfectly honest, the reason why technoblade's character frustrates me in s2 is because he tied his character to a nuanced and deep political ideology and then let the audience draw the conclusion that the stuff he did was an expression of that ideology when it wasn't. like, because doomsday wasn't about anarchy, it should have been written completely differently. you can't have an event with an anarchist causing the end of a government without people naturally drawing the conclusion that that was what his intention as an anarchist, when it mostly wasn't. the most minimal script-doctoring I can do is to just let c!techno have a line like "this isn't about anarchy, it's about revenge". but that's not what happens.
instead, we end up with what is interpreted by the audience as good anarchist rep when it just... isn't really. conflating anarchist ideas and the butcher army plot created a messy narrative. fans can extrapolate what they want out of it, but a more deliberate portrayal of anarchist ideals vs. feeling betrayed in techno's character may have helped mitigate the discourse somewhat. we simply didn't get it.
Missing Ghostbur hours right about now
What intrigues me is how Wilbur is treating life as of nothings changed. He’s still ordering around Tommy and acting like they’re good friends even though Tommy had stated they’re not, he’s manipulating and gaslighting Tommy to get him on his side. The only difference between revived Wilbur and Pogtopia Wilbur is that Revivedbur wants to live, Pogtopia Wilbur wanted to die /rp /dsmp
