DSMP DCW AU

DSMP DCW AU

Tommy and Wilbur had known each other for ages, sticking together and helping the other survive on the streets rather join than the sick games played, or specifically, Survival of the Fittest for cash. One day, they happen to come across an opportunity from a certain agency asking for help.

The agency, more like a pseudo-government of New Earth welcomed them in, and there they trained. There, Tommy met Tubbo, the two quickly becoming best of buds.

Now came the day where they were finally called in to do research on a new planet they discovered- Eden-227. A snowy wasteland with unknown origins.

Of course, they were a trio, so they'd need two more members as the agency usually had sent them in groups of 5, so in came Phil and Technoblade. Of course, the trio never met the duo, but they'd have to make up for it due to a lack of agents.

-----------

SBI + Clingy Duo [Possibly Bench Trio] but in a roblox game called Decaying Winter, lmao.

Honestly I don't know why I did this [chapter 1's out but will most likely never get a follow up]

i just got the idea one day and completely spent all my motivation for that work. whoops.

if anyone wants they can take it and do their own thing with it ig?

lemme just.. character notes.

-----------

Tommyinnit:

Shit at using guns and would probably shoot someone's eye out REALLY immature (though claims otherwise) Gets a little queasy at the sight of blood and doesn't like taking someone's life Too weak to use long and heavy weapons Sovereign

Tubbo: Besties with Tommy Doesn't really like resorting to violence but does it anyway Hivemind Support Class

Wilbur Soot:

Pledge 1 "Experienced" Probably would've been a musician if it weren't for his current occupation Likes to sing Treats Tubbo like another brother Usually kills for Tommy and Tubbo Hands get really shaky sometimes and is quick to break Couldn't use a gun for shit Started before Tommy and Tubbo due to them being underage Blitzer (Explosives) Philza: Pledge 8 "Veteran" Zealot (Shield) Technoblade:

Pledge 9 "Legendary" Berserker Vagabond Doesn't really like children or socializing Would protect Phil with his life hes taken the first calamity serum, the one that made him a heartless killing machine, which gave him voices. due to that, he doesnt need to take the serum to beat people easily. The others will question this, or more specifically Tommy. The newcomers don't get told about the old serum, nor how it gave it's users voices. Because of that, he has enhanced strength and speed. He switched to Vagabond. Ranboo:

Ranboo, trapped on Eden-227, to eventually come across the group of 5 and join.

Of course, the agency are strict on their rules.. They may not be able to bring them all back.

-----------------

..okay. so. story had a lot of flaws. aka it was awful at world building, kinda just went in head first instead of doing much else, and uhh...... a little too much lmao?? i didnt really have much plan besides the fact that i kinda wanted wilbur and tommy to encounter the hanged demon, or as my notes say,

'Wilbur and Tommy encounters the Hanged Demon. Tommy encounters it first, screaming and backing up, which Wilbur is alerted, though not seeing it. "Toms?" Then he sees it, breath hitching, and suddenly thoughts invaded his head. It felt unfamiliar. It wasn't his, but he couldn't help the sudden urge. [insert.. uhh.. urge to die thoughts here] Tommy is uselessly trying to shake Wilbur out of it as Wilbur shakily holds the knife up. Tubbo notices, alerting Techno that the duo might be in trouble. Techno steps in and takes it out.'

and then possibly around night 5 or so they encounter ranboo? maybe. i dont really know anymore and its all.. really awkward and im not actually sure how to make the dialogue go lol.

I just kinda had this wheel full of DCW items [and then another for demons]. uhh.. theres over 100 items and i had to double what it had in empty so there's somewhat of a fair 50/50 randomized chance of what characters find?? it was kinda hard lol. Of course though for the items, there are SOME things that are not there, mainly just I believe the Stims [personally they were always a struggle to remember what what did with their pretty complex names and it was gonna be hard to keep track of it all as the nights go on, and so it was kinda just hard.]

ALSO. DCW lasts for a total of 10 nights, kinda like a wave sort of thing with a period to go and scavenge for things. the enemies, or SKAVs that come along the way grow stronger with each night, and by the third night once they deem you as a bigger threat will come in with guns.

there's also the infection that spreads through your body throughout the game you have to manage and keep low or you die, but uhh.. thats.. also hard, and even harder when the randomizer might never even get the stuff you need to be able to decrease its progress?--- so yeah.

also heres the trello with my notes that i tried to manage with lmao- i just have so much stuff its quite literally a mess. though if anyone picks this up, i suggest learning to play the game [its easier with someone to teach you because there isnt a tutorial as far as im aware]

also we're pretending Last Stranded, the latest and last expansion to the game is not canon [actually zero idea if it is canon but still].

ALSO! DECAYING WINTER HAS AN OFFICIAL TRELLO IF YOU'D LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT ITEMS AND ETC.

heres the fic link. warning you, its bad.

I'll Be Here Till the End of the World if I Have To (As Long as You Don't Leave First) - Crimeboys Oneshot

DREAM SMP SPOILERS [L'manberg, Pogtopia v Manberg]

Tommy hated to admit it, but the truth of it was that they were slowly failing . Failing this revolution, this war. Wilbur had been stubborn for as long as he could remember, and to be honest, he might’ve taken after the brunette, but the masked bitch was also stubborn so they hadn’t ended up going anywhere.

Wilbur, one day, had run off from the group, the one to notice this being Tommy, so he made an excuse to leave and practically bolted once he let Tubs know.

His pace slowed down as he could see the familiar slouched down figure. Wilbur was leaning against a tree, breathing. He slowly opened his eyes to find Tommy there, and it seemed the older couldn’t find it in himself to be surprised.

“..Wil..? What’s wrong?” Tommy spoke as he walked over, taking Wilbur’s hands into his and gently kneading at it. Wilbur seemed to hesitate before he sighed and seemed to give up. “Was it really worth it? For this nation. There isn’t much left we can do to win.”

Tommy could tell his brother’s resolve was ripping at the seams, so Tommy took it into his own hands and slowly put it back together again. After all, Wilbur always had his off moments, and sometimes grown ups needed help. He never did let the mask down around the others. Tommy didn’t think he’d ever understand why Wil wanted to pretend when they’d all be happy with him just acting as himself, but it might’ve just been something that helped Wilbur gain his confidence. After all, that conversation was for another day.

“You don’t have to do it all alone Wil, I’m right here. It was worth it every step of the way. Let me take control over this one alright?” Tommy might’ve been young but he wasn’t stupid. He had a few ideas himself.

Wilbur looked a little skeptical but nodded. He squeezed Tommy’s hand, sucking in a deep breath before standing up straight. “Let’s head back now, shall we?”

--------------------------------------

Tommy could hardly keep the excitement off of him when Eret gathered everyone and had said that they were grinding materials for us to win. It might’ve been a little odd that they hadn’t said anything before, plus it’d have been easier if they had someone to help them grind, but it seemed like everyone else was just as surprised as he was.

Of course, maybe Eret was just a little shy over it so they proposed it all at once, in which case he wasn’t complaining. Maybe they’d have a chance.

So Eret had led us underground into a blackstone room of chests with our names. Tommy grinned as he saw a button in the center, completely ignoring his chest in favor of button pressing. Out of the corner of his eye he could see Wilbur looking down at his chest, and for a second he looked even confused, but of course Tommy hadn’t noticed, as he had pressed the button.

The button seemed to do something as machinery seemed to whir to life. The walls opened, and in came our enemy. Tommy froze, before the sounds of his teammates' panicked yells got through to him, and then he was cut through.

Eret betrayed us, but Tommy was the one to press the button. Was it really his fault if he didn’t know? But it was his own unrestrained curiosity that led to this.

When they all respawned, out of it and lost, he could already see Wilbur’s gears turning. There was a sort of shock and anger that radiated off of him, so Tommy put a hand on his shoulder, whispering. “It isn’t over just yet. We still can do something.”

Maybe Wilbur shouldn’t have put all his hopes on a teenager, but what else could he do?

----------------------------------------

As Tommy sat on the edge of his bed and sucking in a breath, he knew he fucked up. Okay maybe he shouldn’t have had challenged the green fucker to a duel, but Wilbur was going to surrender! He couldn’t let that happen. He’d fight tooth and nail for this country if he had to, and he knew that feeling persisted despite just watching two lives tick to one.

..He couldn’t let this fail. Not after everything. He knew Wilbur was going to give up sooner or later, and he might’ve just unintentionally sped up that process. So as he looked through his things, he knew he’d have to make a sacrifice, even if he’d already given two of his own lives.

With his discs in hand, he left to seek out Dream one last time.

Tommy wanted to feel relief, but he just felt so tired. It was like the weight of the world was on his shoulders, and logically he knew that it wasn’t, but he supposed this whole war had much more of an impact than he had thought.

At least, bearing great news did he show a grin, confessing to the others that he had been able to get them independence.

He’d miss the discs, but this was what he wanted. Independence. He wasn’t sure if he wanted it for himself or if it was just for Wilbur. Maybe it had been both, he wasn’t sure anymore.

----------------------------------------

“I just don’t understand it.” Wilbur started, pacing in a circle with a hard look in his eyes. “They won’t listen to us, after everything. Tell me, Tommy, how do we gain respect?”

He thought hard on this question. If it were him.. He’d think.. “If people could choose who they want in charge.” Wilbur’s eyes snapped to him and he nearly flinched, quickly continuing his sentence before Wilbur could interrupt.

“I mean, no one wants an illegitimate leader. We could.. Make them vote in an election. If we give them a choice then they’ll listen to you then because you would’ve been the person the citizens would’ve chosen.”

After a moment Wilbur’s eyes seemed to soften, nodding along with that. “That makes sense.”

There were stakes now. He knew that. Not that there weren’t stakes before with the war, but Wilbur could potentially lose, with Big Q and Schlatt running. He could lose all his progress. Everything he worked towards.

The country wasn’t going to burst into flames or some shit, of course not, but he knew his brother wanted to be the leader, the president. So Tommy stayed by Wilbur’s side, waiting for the stressful day where they’d see who won with held breath.

He couldn’t do much in this situation but provide reassurances that might go to waste. He’d like to think that everyone would vote for them after everything, but he also knew that some might not. They had even failed negotiations with Quackity after all.

They lost. By one percent.

The two of them ran, breathing in the air that suddenly they seemed to almost lack in. They ran from the country that thought exiling them would be a good idea.

He knew Wilbur was going to do something. Wilbur wasn’t one to just stand by, after all.

----------------------------------------

Wilbur’s words rang in his head as he stood, frozen, breath hitched. Not even the withers and his friends (..?) screams could get to him.

“Let’s be the bad guys.” How far had he gone before Tommy noticed?

“You’re never going to be president, Tommy.” But that wasn’t what he wanted to begin with.

“It was never meant to be.” It was always meant to be, but Wilbur had been the one to change that.

He was too late he thought distantly as he watched as his father killed Wilbur, stabbing him in the chest. He watched as they sank onto their knees, and as blood quickly gathered, staining the fabric. He watched as the one thing he gave all to crumbled, watched as his world fell.

He gave two of his lives for L’manberg, he even sacrificed his discs, but that wasn’t the point.

It was practically Wilbur who he sacrificed those things for. Who he gave his everything for.

Wilbur was his everything, and Wilbur was the one who seemed to selfishly throw that all away.

All Tommy wanted was him, but Wilbur couldn’t seem to understand the only thing he’d ever ask of the older.

It had been for nothing, after all.

He couldn’t even be mad, couldn’t even cry. He just felt so fucking tired. Maybe he was tired of Wilbur, who knew. Wilbur who at the push of a button, destroyed it all. Wilbur who couldn’t even bear to look at the destruction he had caused begged the neglectful father that started this whole thing, that started the two of them to leave and go off on their own to end him.

Even if they only had each other, for that one moment, maybe Wilbur forgot that Tommy wasn’t an adult. That he was just a kid, and so he left him here in the land of the living.

He knew that he was truly alone at that moment. He would never forget this, and maybe, by some miracle that Wilbur came to life, he would not feel the same. He would not do the same. He had been freed from the chains that bound him, and would rather die forever then do it all over again.

Tommy had given Wilbur his everything and Wilbur threw it all away. Tommy no longer had anything left to give.

..

Generation Loss Discussion [Sort of.]

Just remembered about a post I made on Reddit about Generation Loss and Game Theory's theory on that, and it.. kinda matches up with what I do here and I'm kinda trying to add all the stuff I did before to here [which its pretty easy to tell which is older than others, depending on how much info i actually give lol]

REMEMBER! THIS IS CROSS-POSTED, ORIGINALLY FROM REDDIT.

Not labeled as Findings because people have probably already found it, and also discussed it (it was brought to my attention from a comment on MatPat's video by IAmAPieceOf C L A Y). This is me discussing it a little bit while also discussing my take on what it means. Take what I say with a grain of salt because I'm probably wrong.

I'm obviously not the first to find it, but so towards the end where there's just the red generation loss message, in the right bottom corner it briefly shows a message

"Everything has a purpose Just not the purpose you think"

you might have to pause to see it or slow down the video, but I also had something to say about it so I didn't show the image here. It admittedly doesn't have much to do with the actual theory and doesn't necessarily tie into it, but it was something that hadn't actually been mentioned nor I don't think shown in the video when it was showing the actual video from Generation Loss so people might've missed it.

Obviously it's kinda like some reverse psychology where you think the purpose is something but then it might not be that so you think of the opposite but it also might NOT be the purpose thought to be so that's pretty vague of course (and probably adding in seeds of doubt somewhere). But I think it kinda works as a reminder of how everything has a purpose, therefore there isn't anything that can be thrown away.

Maybe there's a reason as to why that one person in the photo MatPat talked about where everyone was blacked out and there was one specific person that was in red instead, but we also don't know who it is. I doubt that it had to actually do with who was there though like MatPat had suggested, and sure maybe they worked for Generation Loss, but I think it might've been more of someone who had to do with Generation Loss. That doesn't mean that I'm throwing away the idea that MatPat had thought, but more of that it might be someone who works for Generation Loss but I'm thinking more on how it probably has something to do with Generation Loss but possibly not directly.

Or, it might be someone who had some sort of importance. The red shows that the tape had been tampered, assumedly by Generation Loss, and with the tape photo that was I think on the twitter that MatPat showed with the Generation Loss symbol and the red streaks along the side that I believe to add into the idea that it had been tampered, which I'm pretty sure MatPat had gone over already.

I think it could've also been someone who had been doubting the truth that Generation Loss was feeding them, or maybe someone that played a bigger role and therefore put in red so people in the future could not learn the truth that they're trying to hide. That, or the red could be the supposed 'normal' one who believes in the truth Generation Loss fed them while the rest are just everyone who didn't exactly, or maybe just didn't find an interest in it.

It could be that Generation Loss had been 'converting' people to follow their misinformation.

Either way, they had conformed to the truth that Generation Loss had painted assumedly, or at least some, otherwise it wouldn't have gotten as big as it had where it was tying into a new curriculum where children would just be taught facts and such and not being taught how to problem solve and etc. Yes, what I am saying is obviously similar to the theory MatPat did, and yes I'm honestly just grasping at straws here, but this is my thoughts over it.

There's probably more, but it just bothered me a little how there was one specific person in a red box while everyone else was in a box of black, not to mention it seeming like Generation Loss' color overall being red. It also seems like the red was used when they tampered the tape itself, but there was also I think another classroom photo but the students weren't boxed out in black or red but the Generation Loss' symbol was still in red and somewhere in the image.

I think the first image's batches of students had something more to do with it than the ones that weren't blacked out, but it could also very well be that either one of the two could be the first time that Generation Loss tried it's new curriculum and tampering with the truth. Do I know how that works with why some students were in black while others in red, and others not blacked out at all? Nope. Also it's really interesting how Generation Loss assumedly uses red to block and cover things while the people in the first photo had been blacked out. In black, not red like the one person which obviously showed that they could've done it for them all, but hadn't. So I think that's really important. And what if someone else tampered with it besides Generation Loss? Or maybe they were just blacked out for privacy reasons but then that doesn't make sense with the others, but the one not blacked out was also just the back of heads which couldn't really show much. It is interesting though.

Although it might just be nothing, 'everything has a purpose', so I was just kinda thinking over the smaller details. That I think is all my thoughts really over this. Feel free to share your own thoughts and point out if I got anything wrong or remembered details wrong. I'm not really one for theorizing and picking apart details anyway so I'm a beginner at this sorta stuff haha.

After note: This was written based off of what I remembered from the video then [aka I never reread what I write, nor had I checked to see if the images I was referring to were in the correct order or looked like I thought they did lmao]

Red Life Grian [Last Life]

spoilers. I don't know if I should keep adding these warnings but I know someone's gonna go read it anyway even if they know and go 'YOU JUST SPOILED IT FOR ME' even though they probably shouldnt even be looking at any posts related to it till they finish it

Just been re-watching Last Life [from Grian's POV], and I just.

Honestly I really like red life Grian, or more specifically 'villain' Grian, like when he did the enchantment table trap in 3rd Life that killed three people.

I don't know if it's just me, but I honestly really like unhinged and deranged characters with nothing to lose because they've already lost it all kinda deal, y'know?

It's why Wilbur is one of my favorites in the Dream SMP, and same for Dream.

And just seeing Grian with Joel as red lives, I just like to imagine that he's.. smiling. Unsettlingly so as he talks to Martyn and Timmy.

Honestly I don't think there's enough of him causing chaos and being a bit of a sadist, y'know? I mean I love Businessman Scar who swindles everyone out of their valuables, and I'm not sure who doesn't, but then there's Grian who I think plays the villain really well (bonus points if there's one with unhinged Grian and [Totally not a] Scammer Scar as a duo, though technically there was that in 3rd Life as Desert Duo Alliance, I kinda crave more.)

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places for that kind of Grian, but so uh.. yeah.

I do still like though that he has some sort of still care for those who once allied with him and had done him no wrong though, as that's kind of a plus.

It reminds me a little of Technoblade's whole thing with if people are kind to him he repays it tenfold, (aka Grian not going after those who were with him), and those that hurt him or his friends will have that injustice repayed a thousand times over. (cough cough. the book. [cough cough. scar. bdubs.])

Doll Grian AU

This is probably one of those AUs that exist just because yes, but recently I've found that I really like AUs where Grian's a doll.

I think I was first introduced to a doll Grian in this SCP type fic that told the story in the form of research papers and so on so a lot of it was left up for interpretation, but it was also pretty interesting, and then over time I ended up encountering another doll grian fic (and then realized there was a tag for it) so then I just went through most of the fics that have the doll grian tag, which in reality I only went to the ones that were completed, because I tend to go farther than recently updated or I'm not really interested in reading incomplete fics and all that stuff y'know, so.

Everyone's takes on it were pretty interesting, and I like it.

The idea where Grian was originally a doll and had a puppet that was human him that he kinda steered around, one where he's literally just a doll but big sized and has to switch through different bodies or something to change clothes since his are just sewn on, one where he was originally Link (I think something about his original skin being Link before what it is now) and then something something happened and then became a doll [and then how he ended up out of the Link universe or something there were other characters from the fandom I think appearing- uh.. I don't actually know that much about Link and all that stuff though so I'm not gonna try].

I don't know, I just like the idea of a doll Grian moving around and people don't actually realize he's a doll until something happens- cough cough, like 100 hour hardcore smp, where there's this one fic where when the.. mob in the woodland mansion who I can't actually remember with the axe killing him, a LOT of stuffing quite literally kinda exploded out of him and going all over the place.

Also he had a heart made out of fabric which is an interesting take.

But there's also one where we don't actually see him as the doll because something something swap, Zedaph becoming a doll [Base swap], or then there's Mumbo [Soul- ..thing?? What do I refer to it as ;-;]

And honestly I just adore it and I think there needs to be more. I'm well aware though that doll grian fics probably don't all use the doll grian tag, because the SCP one didn't have it either, and I might have to go through every single page that has the Grian as a character which I honestly don't think I could last that long, so.. yeah.

But since it's not really with the lore of anything and kinda just something that exists because yes, you kinda have to come up with the story yourself and what happens in it if you know what I mean?

Like if you were to write out a scene based off of story that has happened in say Double Life for example, where I wrote a fic with Desert Duo about a confrontation between them about the secret soulmate bond with Big B, then that'd be based off of stuff in a story that has already happened.

If you were to write a Doll Grian fic though, you don't really have anything to base it off of because it's not actually canon, and you'd have to either figure it out yourself and make up your own story, or somehow include it in a pre-existing scene, like Third Life but with Avian Grian with bound wings where you can use that idea and put it into a scene that already exists, like with Desert Duo being on Monopoly Mountain and create a moment there based on what has already happened and have for example, Scar preening Grian's wings.

Technically you would be able to fit a Doll Grian in a pre-existing scene, but you'd have to make up a lot more stuff, considering Grian would be soft, fragile, and injury or death make stuffing go brr, unless you want Grian to just be like some ghost haunting a doll which is also interesting and I would probably count that as a doll grian, so he's not actually really living and probably wouldn't feel pain..? I don't know the logistics of this and don't have enough brain cells to figure it out, but so yeah.

Recent fixation that I'll probably end up forgetting about in a few days.
