Hand reaches to grasp the others  (  head tilted, smile to accompany the offering  )  as the flowers were laid in his palm.  It was nothing overly ornate; the few poppies a stark red.  Gently curling his fingers over their stems.  ❝  They are not the happiest of flowers by any means, but they do symbolize peace.  ❞  Peace in death  ---  was there truly such a thing  ??  ---  yet peace all the same.  Enkidu taking a step back, brushing hair from their eyes.  ❝  I feel as if you are in need of such...  ❞

Poking around the kitchen was never the smartest of choices  (  Enkidu did not need to eat, often didn’t, and the assassin  ??  his cooking skills left much to be desired  ).  The two shifting through cabinets after some stupid snack.  Getting their hands on the sweets  ---  like a scene out of that Christmas movie about the elf  (  syrup on spaghetti  ).  Looking proudly upon their abomination of a concoction.  ❝  I think so...  ??  this seems right, yes  ??  you are much better at this than I.  ❞  Eyes following his movements, watching their meal unfold.  ❝  Is that really how pasta is supposed to be made  ??  ❞
