tony has always wanted to be a teacher.

he takes on students as much as he can, but his game and reputation stopped him from actually becoming a school teacher. The students would never see past the persona. He was too much of a big name, too well known…

until he finally perfected identity concealing tech.

It had been initially made for Peter, to ease his anxiety about his identity being discovered while working for SI. But, the tech also helped Tony finally try his hand at formal teaching.

Getting a job wasn’t very hard, even without his name and reputation. Soon enough, he was situated as a first year teacher at a local high school, teaching mechanics and computer science.

Funnily enough, soon after the new teacher was hired, his class was offered a tour of SI!

au where peter applied to be a intern BEFORE tony figured out who he was and recruited him for civil war, he gets accepted because of course he does and so does ned, because, of course he does?

don’t ask me how, or why, but the pair somehow manage to figure out ways around the age requirements— ( although it’s plain obvious that they aren’t close to eighteen. ) — but nobody cared enough to call them out, and so.. boom, peter and ned are apart of the stark industries internship program ( created to spite competitors who had similar ideas… )

the pair figure out how to juggle being high schoolers, sneaking peter off to do spider-manning, work at the internship ( the two are way more advanced then the adults around them, and oh my god they should not be working on the new stark phone, but the calculations are off and they can’t just ignore that? ) and make sure nobody figures out that peters spider-man, and that they both aren’t adults ( there’s a bet going around about their age, but it’s a 50-50 and the general consensus is that they are not in-fact hold enough to drink beer. )

later, after an employee tried to pass the calculations off as their own ( friday immediately called him out and he was suspended. ) tony tracks them down and then i don’t know iron dad ensues don’t ask me i cant think that far ahead.
