The best revenge is none. Move on and heal yourself so you don’t become like the people who traumatized you.
I've seen some comparisons to Billford and The Phantom of the Opera but I don't think people really get just how much this comparison fits

Here's the basic plot of the Phantom of the Opera for anyone who doesn't know
Phantom of the Opera is about a young but incredibly talented singer, Christine Daaé, who's both haunted & mentored by a secretive music teacher she calls her “Angel of Music.” In actuality, Christine's tutor is the titular “Phantom,” who nurtures a dangerous obsession with his protégée
So...someone that's incredibly talented & passionate about their newfound career is randomly visited by a mysterious figure who lies about being a kindly being who just wants to help them cultivate their talents & inspire them to greatness? Is this about Ford and his "muse" or Christine and her "Angel of Music"? Part of the story before you fully learn about the phantom and who they are, people keep asking her how she suddenly got so talented and who this mystery person teaching her. Some people, even herself, think she's losing her sanity. Also like, so many lines in the iconic song of the musical feel very Billford coded but any fans who make this comparison know/use this song:

And not to mention Raoul (AKA Fiddleford's role if we're going all out with parallels & comparisons)

Raoul. He's Christine's childhood friend/sweetheart. They haven't seen each other in years but they reconnect through the opera house & fall in love. And The Phantom is SOOO pissed off and jealous the second Raoul came into the picture! Immediately insulting him and accusing Raoul of "basking in her glory" and just wants him dead the second he learns about his existence.
And after she realizes the truth about the Phantom, it's her trying to escape the Phantom's control and the Phantom is essentially trying to get her back. I don't remember much of the musical beyond thisso I'll do a rewatch and see if there's more. But seriously, I've seen people use the lyrics from the iconic song "The Phantom of the Opera" but like large chunks of plot itself and what they go through is shockingly similar too

remember: hes a brain goblin and if hes infront of you then you are Dreaming. ford did not remember this, as he was too busy hiding his willy from billy
