Sinful Constellation

Everybody knew that their soulmates' constellations were imprinted into their bodies once they turned 16, but why did Diluc dread getting his constellation?  Why did he not want to know his soulmate? He, himself never knew. Maybe it was because of the possibility of the person being someone he hated. Loathed? Maybe.

But he couldn’t focus on that now since he still had duties to attend to; being one of the knights of Favonius, that is. He was focused on his work, dedicated, and simply loyal. He enjoyed his time with his friends and brother, it truly felt like his second home.

Although, everything in his life changed when he turned 18. His birthday. The day his father died due to a delusion and how his brother was a traitor. Did the world resent him? Did he do something to deserve this? Was the Anemo Archon punishing him? Nothing mattered anyway, he left the knights at the end, his trust being broken by the only people he truly cared for.

He couldn’t trust the knights to protect Mondstadt after that incident; so he took in the role of the ‘Dark Knight Hero’ to protect the Mondstadt citizens from lurking abyss mages at night. He’s done this every night in Mondstadt, successfully protecting Mondstadt and its people from harm.

Diluc planned to go out on a mission at night. A fatui harbinger was spotted inside the city walls of Mondstadt and he couldn’t let that side– He’ll catch whoever that is and bring justice.

He’s hated– no, loathed the fatui ever since his father died, vowing to never associate himself with the fatui in any way possible.

At night, he finally set out his plan, tying his hair back into a high ponytail as he tucked his vision inside his shirt so that the enemy thought he had no vision. He clenched and unclenched his fists as the chains around his fingers fit perfectly onto his hand, giving him more stability in his grip. 

“Adeline, don’t wait for me.”

He curtly said before leaving the winery, already heading towards the base near the city, given that he had already found every clue leading to where the harbinger was residing in.

The domain was filled with traps, which he skillfully avoided.

‘Were the traps made by a five-year-old…?’

He thought, raising his eyebrow as his red eyes scanned the room, noting every nook and cranny there was, even going as far as to count the number of barrels and crates there were.

The enemies he’s encountered weren’t difficult for him to kill; just a bunch of cicin mages and hydro gunslingers. He almost scoffed at how easy the domain was, with no sight of the harbinger. He almost thought of the possibility that the harbinger had already fled, but he was quickly proven wrong when two hydro blades ambushed him from the back.

He was quick to barely block it with his claymore, having been caught off-guard by the sudden attack. Diluc put some distance between him and the perpetrator, and he noted that the man had freckles, ginger hair, eyes devoid of emotion, and a look of… Shock? Why?

He shook his head as he charged forward, wanting to apprehend the man, but the harbinger just defended himself, not making any moves on fighting the angered Ragnvindr.

Diluc could feel himself get tired with each hit he blew toward the ginger, fury clouded his mind as his anger fueled him to keep going, but he was still human, so after a while, his attacks became disoriented.

The ginger on the other hand, just kept defending himself, looking at Diluc with pleading eyes to stop. He couldn’t help but notice his constellation glowing on Diluc’s back, he just hoped that he would stop his barrage of attacks.

Once Diluc hit the final blow, he created some distance between them, wondering why the freckled man wasn’t attacking. The room was filled with a thick tension, heavy panting was the only sound filling the silence-filled space.

The once clean and put-together look of Diluc, was now a mess, his ponytail falling down as his clothes were wrinkled and dirtied. Once he finally got the strength to look up; the first thing he noticed was the open shirt of the ginger– and his constellation being imprinted onto his chest.

“No.. no, no, no, no–”

He recited like a mantra, his weapon being discarded onto the ground as he rushed forward to look at Childe’s constellation better. He couldn’t believe it, he was overwhelmed, a sob threatening to escape his lips as he looked at his constellation being imprinted onto Childe’s chest.

Once, twice, thrice– he was his soulmate, whether he liked it or not. The sudden realization finally dawned on him, looking directly into Childe’s devoid eyes in disbelief, he couldn’t help but shake and hunch down, his hands gripping onto Childe’s shirt tightly, not wanting to believe that he was his soulmate.

And Childe couldn’t do anything but look down at him, holding Diluc’s waist with comfort. He quickly realized that Diluc didn’t want to be his soulmate, and that crushed him. He was looking forward to finally meeting his soulmate too.

Wanderer didn't know how many years— hell, decades has gone by ever since he saw you die. You were the only one who was there to talk to him, listen to him, comfort him– Yet, you were gone.

Back when he was Kunikuzushi; he didn't know what happened. Your death happened right in front of him— his fourth betrayal. The cold, metallic blood stained his clothes, your mouth filled with petals.

He could still remember your face, your voice, your panic to tell something to him, but he was far too innocent that time to understand. If he had the chance to turn back the time, he would've done something different.

He remembered that day as clear as glass.

"Kuni... I don't think I'll be able to live very long."

"What do you mean by that, M/N?"

"Come, I'll- cough tell you."

He should've noticed the blood-stained petal that came out of your mouth, that was a sign— yet, Kunikuzushi disregarded it, thinking it was normal.

"Kuni, no matter what, you have to promise me- cough something."

"Sure, what is it?"

"Always believe in yourself. Don't let your origin or past define you."

Just as Kunikuzushi was about to respond, you coughed tons of petals, blood dripping down from the side of your chin as your airways were starting to get blocked.

You looked desperate, in pain— yet you looked at Kunikuzushi with affection.

"Don't forget me."

A voice called out to Wanderer. It was familiar, but he didn't want to get his hopes up, his mind convincing him that you were dead.

Just as he turned his body around to get the item he dropped, he made eye contact with those familiar E/C eyes, something that he couldn't take off his mind.

"Do I know you?"

It's safe to say that the fight was one-sided. He may be a man of wit, but they were a person of deceit.

Nobody knew what was going on inside of his head, nobody dared to talk to him, nobody tried to get under his skin, nobody surpassed him

But why did it all not matter once THEY arrived?

That's what he's trying to figure out. The simple 'Hi's' and 'Hello's' that they give him. The way they talk to him so freely. The way they would correct his work and tease him about it. The way they surpassed him.

He. Hated. Them.

Everybody at the Akademiya noticed this and silently prayed for their safety because none knows what this dangerous student could be brewing up

"Hey, hey, Zandik, what are you looking at now?"

To say that his skin jumped out of his body was an understatement. He knew he was a keen guy, but them; who just silently walked and talked to him like it was nothing, creeped him out.

"Just researching on this Ruin Guard. What brings you out here at this time of night, Mx. (L/N)?"

It was the middle of the night. They weren't supposed to be out here, and no Akademiya students were supposed to be out by curfew. But what were they doing there? Especially for (L/N)?

"I've been researching for a type of... Plant. It's very specific and I'm sure you haven't heard of it. Well, I should get going, don't want to miss this opportunity."

Before he could say something, they were already gone, just like the wind. Pretty ironic for a person with an anemo vision

A few days passes by, the Grand Sage announces that if a person manages to make a ground-breaking discovery; they'll be able to access 'illegal' information and the deadline was in 6 months.

This piqued Zandik's interest, and clearly, he's not the only one. Some Scholar's wanted to finally understand what it's like to hold so much knowledge, whilst the other majority was too afraid to what will happen to them if they got ahold of such knowledge.

Zandik hoped that they wouldn't participate, but when he turned his head, he saw the look in their face. Astonishment.

And he hated it. But nonetheless, he kept his composure and went to them, wanting to 'collaborate'

"Hm~? The oh mighty, smart, and 'nice' Zandik wishing to collaborate with me?"

"If it means getting the research done and thoroughly searched, then so be it."

"Why ask me of all people? There's literally Lisa over there."

"Unlike them, I find you more tolerable, Ms. Lisa's mere appearance annoys me."

"Right, so when will we conduct the 'research'?"

"We'll start tomorrow, we'll be searching about--"

Turns out, the book was extremely helpful with their expedition, since it contained other stuff that they didn't know about. Hey, even if you're the smartest one in the whole Akademiya, you'll still learn things that you don't know.

Well, after a few months of searching and researching, they finally found something that they were truly starstrucked about.

"This is huge, Zandik! We'll definitely get this reward!"

"Don't celebrate just yet, we'll need to do intensive research about it."

"Right!"

At the 4th month, they finally finished what they were working on and had 2 months to spare.

You'd probably think that they'd just leave each other alone, but that didn't happen, obviously. Someone got attached.

Wanting to learn more about them, he decided to follow them everywhere, creepy if you ask me.

"Alright Zandik, what do you want? You've been following me for a month already, don't you have anything better to do?"

"Jeez, I know you're supposed to be creepy and deranged, but this is by far the creepiest act you've done."

"Can I continue?"

"Will you go out with me?"

It was time for the announcement of the people who'll get the illegal information, and the couple was excited, they've been working so hard for it, and now they'll see if their hard work paid off.

"We have a team of two that made a ground breaking discovery, but they themselves did a solo project. Although, even with their collaboration, their solo works were worth more."

"I wonder who it is..."

(Y/N) wandered off in their own thoughts, wanting to get the ceremony over with, whilst Zandik could feel his heart racing, along with the other scholars.

"I present to you; The ground-breaking discovery that (Y/N) (L/N) made; --!"

White noise. All he could hear was white noise, he could see on how they smirked at him and gave him a peck on the cheek. He saw on how they got the glowing Divine Knowledge Capsule and walked down towards him with it.

"Let's go somewhere else, yeah, babe?"

He still couldn't function properly, not accepting the fact that he lost.

Once they opened it up, their body became statue-like before tears streamed down their eyes and fainted.

Zandik quickly caught them and stared at the capsule that (Y/N) was now gripping. It bewildered him. He was curious, but he knows to not touch it, because it's obviously harmful, not only to his emotional well-being, but his mental condition too.

Well, the next thing (Y/N) knows, is waking up in a large bed, somehow it was very cold.

After going to their respective places, the other students were talking about their projects/research whilst the two were working individually despite needing to work together.

The day of the results came, and (Y/N) was gripping Al-haithams hand tightly, nervous of what their rank is.

As their eyes skimmed over the rankings, their heart leaped out of their chest as they saw their rank

"RANK ONE! HOLY DAMN"

"Eh- but- how?!"

"What do you mean, "how"? Did you really think I didn't notice your plan?"

"But why didn't you say anything?"

A certain indigo-haired man was furious that his rival topped this time, while his so-called 'rival' was grinning in victory and in- well, cockiness.

"Hey look! I topped this semester, AGAIN!"

"SHUT UP WILL YOU!"

The (H/C) person laughed and went away with their friends, successfully making him more furious than ever.

"Yo, congrats on second place dude-!"

"Childe. Not. Now."

"CHILL! Did (Y/N) top you again this time? At least you still got into the top three! I'm not even in the top ten"

"That's because you're a dumbass."

"OW! I mean, true but you didn't have to say it!"

"Get away from me."

Scaramouche walked away from the ginger, whilst the ginger stood there and thought of a plan to help his friend get top one

TIME SKIP - LUNCH

Childe sat with his usual lunch buddies, you could guess who.

"Sooooo... Scara, I was thinking...-"

"DON'T even try to utter another word out of your mouth. I just know it's stupid"

"I SWEAR IT'S NOT STUPID SIGNORA!"

"Just let him utter it out, he won't shut up anyway."

"RUDE. But anyway, I found a way to get you to top one this semester!"

"This is going downhill, just continue."

Childe talked about his plan towards them and it seems like it could be a good plan (for once) and were considering it

"So you're telling me, I just have to do that to get to top one?"

"Yup!"

"I'll think about it"

"You're seriously thinking about it? How will you pull it off though?"

"I'll plan ahead, I already have one in mind."

"Sure, whatever floats your boat"

He just rolled his eyes and quickly left the table, wanting to initiate the plan immediately. He didn't know why he was so eager to do so, maybe because of the possibility that he'll rise to top one or... Something else?

"Hey, loser."

"Last time I checked, you were the person who got second place"

"Shut up. What are you doing after school?"

He crossed his arms, while they were confused, because- Scaramouche never made plans with other people, it was the other way around and they had to drag him.

"Nothing...? Why do you ask?"

"Good, meet me at the park later."

"Right. If you stand me up, I'll make sure to humiliate you."

He only tche'd and went off, not saying another word

'Weird, he probably has a plan... Better see what's up.'

They looked at the door where he left and shrugged, they didn't want to stress themselves out after a long day anyway.

TIME SKIP - PARK

They got to the park and inspected the area, expecting to not see the indigo-haired man amidst the crowd, but lo-and-behold, he was there, his back facing them.

"Didn't expect you to actually invite me here, Scaramouche."

"Kunikuzushi."

"Pardon?"

"Call me Kunikuzushi."

"That's so long, how about Kuzu instead?"

"Whatever."

They thought this sudden change of mood was weird, but they waved it off and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon with him. His company wasn't that annoying after all, he was a great person to be around with.

This continued for a few weeks, laughing, hanging out, infuriating each other for fun, and teasing. Until he popped the question 'Will you be my partner?' and our dear (Y/N) said yes because they actually enjoyed his presence around.

The new semester came and Scaramouche was feeling more confident than ever, and when the results came, he was shocked.

"Thought you'd replace my number one spot after dating me?"

"but- what- how?!"

"Childe doesn't exactly have the quietest mouth. Although, I don't mind continuing this relationship of ours."

Kuzu flushed and nodded.

Well, at least it ended well? The original plan was to make (Y/N) fall for him and get them distracted with their studies, but it seemed like he got distracted first...

a/n: oh boy, we're in for a ride.

(M/N) woke up and immediately felt something on his eye, and he immediately got up and looked in the mirror. It was an eye patch, it had a unique design to it, and it was on the eye that he had just lost due to Dottore going on with his outburst.

He could only sigh, it's not like he can complain about it. He does not want to lose both of his eyes and become permanently blind, no. Furthermore, he looked at the time and saw that it was four in the morning, the perfect time to get ready and not deal with the Doctor complaining that he was late.

Whilst (M/N) got ready, Dottore was at his lab, running around too excitedly for his own well-being, even his clones were confused. He was making an unknown mixture that specifically does something to your mind and body, and he was making sure that the effects were going to be strong and effective.

“Sir, I'm here.”

A voice called out from the other side of the door, before coming in and shutting it, making the light from the outside peer in for only just a second.

“Good, now sit down on that chair, we're still not done from yesterday, traitor.”

(M/N) quietly sat down without hesitation, not wanting another 'incident' happening. Dottore then went on with his work, wanting to perfect the unknown mixture, and when (M/N) saw what it looked like, he was pretty… Nervous per se, not every day you see the Doctor being passionate about something, which was unsettling, to say the least…

“Put on this blindfold, you brat. You're going to be my new lab rat for the next few days, we'll see if you can survive.”

“Yes, sir.”

(M/N) reluctantly put on the blindfold, not wanting to question any further, because if he does, Archons know what this man would do to him.

He suddenly got his mouth forced open and a cold liquid went into his mouth, and with no choice, he had to swallow it, the liquid itself was disgusting, he wanted to throw up, and his stomach felt weird, his body felt hot, his body was sensitive— wait what?

“What are you feeling right now?”

“Sensitive.”

“Good, anything else?”

Dottore knew what he wanted, it was right in front of him.

“… Needy… Hot…”…

(M/N) was inhaling and exhaling at this point, what was in that mixture? He doesn't want to know, he just wanted this feeling to end.

“It's working… Do you want that feeling to end?”

“Yes, please…”

“Well, too bad, pretty boy.”

Dottore walked forward and took his blindfold off, the cloth now sitting at his neck. Now (M/N) could fully see the Doctor, when did he become so hot—?

“You're staring, pretty boy.”

“Sorry.”

He wasn't tied up or anything, so what was stopping him from ravaging the man in front of him? Fear. The same man was grinning at (M/N)'s state, it was amusing for him to see that his own very emotionless assistant was making faces like this.

Dottore slowly took everything off until he was only wearing his shirt and some pants, and it made (M/N)'s mind go hazy, almost making his dick do the talking, but he held himself back because of the same reason— fear.
