HxH Random Headcanon Time!

Can we just acknowledge how tall Hanzo is? He's a bit taller than Hisoka, so about 6'3 at least. But something I've noticed since I've been nonstop rewatching the episodes he's in is how he talks to people shorter than him.

He literally crouches down to eye level with the person, and we see him doing this at least 3 times.

He's taller than these guys, and we can see 1, that he's kind of hunched over, but he's also got his knees bent, all so he can make eye contact with them.

Here he is doing it again, knees bent and hunched over, but he's actually crouched down a little too far this time, he isn't eye level, but he can make eye contact with the person.

And here he is doing the same with Tonpa.

I don't think he's doing it to be a dick. I think he's doing it because eye contact is very important to him, and maybe not to intimidate people. Because he is very friendly and social, he only gets intimidating when Tonpa offers him the can of juice. I think if he hadn't done that, Hanzo would have continued trying not to be intimidating.

-Cheetu is very physically affectionate, I doubt it'd take long for y'all to start cuddling together

-You're both probably chilling and you just sort of end up cuddling

-He's comfier than whatever wall or tree you're leaning on and he'll take any affection he can get

-I actually picture it being embarrassing for him at first

-You laying against him and cuddling is gonna make him so damn happy he will immediately start purring

-It's not the quiet kind either. Ever heard a cheetah purr? Loud as hell. And it's not slow, it's like a motor

-You think it's adorable and start teasing him

-He's shockingly very flustered

-You have to reassure him it's fine and you like it

-You cuddle him again and he keeps purring this time

-He's a lot more physically affectionate afterward

-He will squeeze you a lot, he's very happy you're there and just wants to give you all his love

-He'll often have his arm around you but he isn't going to initiate cuddles first

-If you start cuddling him he's really nonchalant

-You might hear him chuckle but apart from that he'll just pull you closer and relax

-Don't get him wrong, he loves that you're cuddling him, but he's just really chill about it

-Might actually play with your hair or pat your head

-He's really great to cuddle though, he's big and warm and fluffy, perfect!

-Even after he'll usually let you initiate cuddles if he's had a bad day though he might initiate

-If you want cuddles but he can't at the moment he'll pat your head and promise them later

-Oh boy, you thought Cheetu was flustered, this guy just malfunctions

-He is absolutely tomato red

-Probably speechless for a second

-Once he's functioning again he'll just slowly wrap his arms and tail around you

-He's got a big happy smile

-He's screaming internally and he's so excited

-He'll eventually calm down and he feel like he can relax with you

-Conversation might be awkward at first but he just ends up giving you a lot of compliments

A-Was probably by accident, I bet it was like the middle of the hunter exam where they're collecting badges

-Y'all teamed up since you'd already made friends and all that before the exam

-It's the middle of the night, you're exhausted so you end up falling asleep sitting next to him

-He can stay awake much longer since he's a ninja so he's kind of keeping watch

-Aaaand your head falls on his shoulder

-He will whip his head around so fast, he thinks your an enemy but when he sees it's you he doesn't know what to do

-He just kind of sits there with a nosebleed and internally fist pumping

-Heaven forbid you hug his arm or side in your sleep, his soul might just leave his body

-Most likely he just sits there enjoying it and trying not to wake you up til morning

-If you're especially adorable and make cute noises in your sleep or if you straight up start full-on cuddling him he might kiss the top of your head

Because of my never ending curiosity, I must ask...what would Rammot and Pouf be like with a human S/O? Would they both be in denial about liking a human? Or would they just accept it? Would they be sweet with them? Or revert to total animal instincts with them? I'm just so curious.

I got some free time for some brief headcanons yay!

TW: mild smutt mention/brief yandere mention but headcanons aren't based on it/brief mating mention/mention of Pouf being beaten so you aren't

-I think for Pouf he would make it a huge deal.

-There's gonna be a lot of internal conflict on his part.

-At first he adamantly tries to deny his feelings. The king is his sole priority and purpose in life. Being in love with a human hinders his ability to carry out that purpose.

-He might actually be tempted to kill you at first, since you're hindering his ability to protect the king and therefore pose a threat to the king's very life

-He won't have the strength to do it though, even though he feels strongly about protecting the king, he feels just as strongly for you

-He's generally hesitant to ever talk to you at first and keeps the conversations brief. But as he gets to know you more, he finds thing after thing about you that he just adores and he can't help but start talking with you more and more.

-He of course keeps his feelings for you hidden from the king. If you aren't someone the king needs around and you don't serve him any purpose, Pouf will do his upmost to keep you away from the King as not to annoy him or risk your life

-If you're lucky the king will be tolerant of you. Especially if you have no nen or great aura quantities. He wouldn't have any interest in eating you that way.

-If you ever pissed off the king or annoyed him in any way and he was going to kill you or hit you with his tail, Pouf would step in holding back tears and beg the king to punish him on your behalf.

-Pouf would be frustrated at you angering the king but wouldn't do much about it. Once you're both in private though he would hug you and cry, glad that you're okay. Pouf can take quite a beating from the king and come out with cuts and bruises.

-But likely you on the other hand would die instantly.

-Overall Pouf, though briefly in denial, would love you a lot. He loves you as deeply as he cares for the king's safety. That's a lot.

-He definitely feels like he needs to protect you, especially given the situation of everything at the palace.

-He'd probably allow you in one designated area for you to do your own thing most of the day. Probably close to Pouf, out of Meruem's sight and not too close to the other ants.

-It's less of a yandere kidnapping sense and more of an actually keeping you safe so you don't get eaten or decapitated sense.

-With Rammot there'd be much less denial. Still a bit in the beginning though.

-He thinks very highly of himself and is mildly pissed that he could ever fall to such feelings for a weak human, likely one without even nen.

-But he'd get over that pretty fast. Especially if you give him food and are respectful by staying away from the food he's already claimed. (Those poor horses on stick jesus fucking christ)

-He'd try to woo them but he'd likely try the animal way first, and that just ends up confusing the hell out of them.

-But next he'd try to just be nice and tolerant of you. He has no idea how humans usually woo each other so he's just gonna try being nice.

-But if you do anything romantic at all like giving a gift or running your fingers through his hair, not only will he be thrilled that you at all reciprocate his feelings, but he'll mimic the hell out of you.

-Finally he knows at least one thing humans do to woo each other, he's gonna use it all the damn time.

-Maybe constantly getting you little gifts, often things from the villages they've devoured people from, and sometimes things like bones, straight up meat, and one time twigs.

-Apart from that y'alls relationship is very driven by his animal instincts. He's normally more run by them anyways so it makes sense that they'd be so apparent in his relationship with you.

-He's pretty territorial and that includes of you too. Starts getting more and more agitated before straight up violent with other people, creatures and ants if they get too close to you.

-Also the gifting you twigs thing was to maybe make a nest with you. Essentially his version of a risky text. But when you accepted the twigs (more so out of confusion) it sent his heart soaring.

-I do see him being a bit yandere, but he's less likely to go out of his way to kill someone for you. Only if they get too close to you or hurt you. Otherwise he just tells them to piss off.

-And yes he does have a mating season. Thank god for Uber Eats so y'all don't have to leave your house.

Hey how are you doing, if it’s not to much trouble could you give us an update on the Valentine's Day Event Asks from a while ago, sorry if it’s a bit much I’m just a bit curious as to how there coming along lol.

Hi, I'm doing good. The Valentine's asks are extremely late and I apologize for that. Originally I had wanted to finish them by the end of February, I now realize as it is May that that was a joke😅

I have only gotten to start one of them and I am still trying to find time to work on it. I am a college student and it's rare that I get much time to write between assignments. The Valentine's asks are also not formatted the same way as my usual headcanons and short fics in the form of headcanons.

The Valentine's asks are formatted like a regular fic, but the y/n is the actual person who requested it and I have to try and make the character act like the personality described to me in the asks. So they aren't only long, but pretty difficult to write. I enjoy working on them when I find time but it will take a while.

That's why when I do post stuff currently it's pretty short or in headcanon form. I can type that stuff pretty fast and it's just a stream of thoughts so I just type til I finish my thought.

I'll try to find more time to work on the Valentine's asks, I do want to finish them, but in the meantime I might also answer some of my other shorter asks since they take less time. And some of y'all have been waiting on other asks for a really long time now.

Sorry the asks are taking so long y'all, just very pressed for time.

Could you do some headcanons of Meleoron and his S/O going to a convention together.

Oooh I love this!

-Meleoron loves conventions, I've mentioned this before in another headcanon

-He feels insecure about his body being a chimera ant now and feels like he scares people

-But when he's at a con he fits right in. Everyone is dressed up as different characters, some very scary. So he doesn't have to worry at all about feeling out of place

-That and people often go up to him to complement his "cosplay"

-He would be absolutely thrilled to go to a convention with you

-Especially if you're really into cosplay

-He probably won't cosplay, but he's happy to help you with your cosplay

-He goes to as many conventions with you as he can, it's the one time you two can have sort of a date without him worrying about being seen as a monster

-He's a lot more confident at conventions, and a little more extroverted because of it.

-Definitely knows some of the people that have panels etc.

-But when he gets socially drained you two go to a quieter area just outside for a while to recollect.

-And probably so he can smoke

-He really loves when people at cons ask about his tail and how he made it so animated and life-like. He'll just tell them it's a secret.

-He loves the praise he gets from the other cosplayers, it really boosts his self-esteem, he always leaves feeling really happy

-But when he's with you, he'll bring more attention to whatever cosplay you've made.

-If there's a long line for something he might use "God's Accomplice" to get the two of you in without waiting forever.

-If you're new to cons he's really excited to show you around.

-You're both on the lookout for cool merch

-You two basically spend as much time as possible at the con, no matter how many days it is

-Afterwards you're both very tired, especially socially, so when you get home you both just cuddle and go to sleep
