Just imagined Boyfriend! Kyojuro Rengoku watching you dancing and singing your heart out while cooking dinner from the hallway and just utterly falling harder for you. Like he was already head over heels but just seeing you in your zone completely jamming out in the comfort of the home that you both created just makes him fall harder than before.

While he leans and watches you quietly in the doorway, he imagines how the rest of your lives will be together and the biggest smile forms on his face. He soon will have the pleasure and privilege to ask you to marry him and to be able to love you for eternity and he can not be more excited and grateful. Hell, he even believes he is blessed.

And as you continue to dancing and jam out to your favs—blissfully unaware of his presence, he’s contemplating on wether he should just ruin the surprise and propose now, pajamas on and all. Or he could wait till tonight and take you to your favorite spot and propose to you there accompanied by your friends and family. He knows you and your family would prefer the second choice but He just can’t help it, you mean that much to him and he’s that excited.

One fear i have about doing a sanemi x iz comic or series exploring that relationship is because I actually don’t know the character well. Like yeah i’ve seen him in the anime and read the manga, but i haven’t dug as deep as much as kyojuro. And i fear my interpretation of him when i draw him would end up wrong? I just fear the thought of someone going “oh ew that’s not what sanemi would say at all” because mean and morally grey characters but with a heart of gold is so hard to write. How do you actually balance between “oh yeah that’s something he’d say” and “oh that’s a hc isn’t, it’s kinda cool”

A lot of my kny x oc art isn’t heavily lore implied in my character side of things, because i want people to be able to put their own y/ns in my character’s place. But every time i drew sanemi and iz it became very…personal. I don’t know how to “share” this man with you
