“I brought the Captain to Exhibit D. I don’t know if they have ever seen vegetation or plant life. I personally haven’t, so it surprised the both of us when it was covered in Poacae. Also known as grass. Besides that there was also some sort of floral growth. Pink in colour, species unknown. Then the captain did something odd, they picked a few by the stems and began intertwining them. More oddly, they then proceeded to put it on my head. “Flower crown” they signed with their hands. When did they learn to do this? And why did they seem so…sad?”

Thinking about how in another life, maybe Sanemi and Iz could have worked things out. Maybe in the hc that kyojuro dies i might change that and make iz actually survive the whole muzan ordeal and she gets back with sanemi again. Maybe that’s a whole separate timeline all together. Kinda cute though.

“Hey we weren’t mature and kind of stupid when we first fell for each other. Can we try again?” Type of deal because it is cannon how after genya dies sanemi got a lot softer. He’s more patient, more understanding, more complient. And Iz is more conscious, more willing to reciprocate his anxiety, more sober to understand that a strength of a hashira is still human strength since even Kyojuro lost.

Why was the captain sad looking in the flower crown post?

Hehe so this is kind of hard to explain. i was trying to hint that the captain has already seen or even BEEN to exhibit D. I wanted to make a vague hint about that particular place being tied to Damien and Celine’s forest (hence the choice of colour for the flower being pink) i wanted to emphasise the point that engie is not alone, he isn’t trapped in the loop by himself. We are trapped together. And worse, we are trapped in a bigger more complicated loop than engie himself thought. Engie doesn’t know wilford, we do

Flower crowns are just a personal touch of mine since most of my comics about wil and dark revolve HEAVILY around flower crowns especially wilford. (People who had read my old comics might realise the connection :))

I just wanted it to circle back that’s all.
