What were some of the inspirations behind your ocs? You can tell that a lot of thought and care went into them :)

My friend and I have been playing with these characters since 2014, but almost nothing is the same anymore. We've grown up and so have the characters. Nearly everything we have for them and their story now, was written in the past month or two. We've been working very hard.

I'd ballpark that around 50-65 percent of the story is inspired by real people and events that have happened to us, but always with a twist!

We'd never write something that directly happened in our lives but will mix and match real experiences with fiction. Write what you know I guess?

And sometimes the story gets super meta but only in a way that my cowriter and I would pick up on. An example: one character is working really hard to write this "masterpiece" of an album, but is way too perfectionist about it and can't do it until he gets help from a close friend... That story arc really parallels our own experience with working on this comic!

If I ever get this thing off the ground, I'd call it my masterpiece...

2020 vs 2023 glow up. I love the more cartoony style, but it's just not me anymore. I'm happy where my art is now!

You know I followed for the cats, and I won't lie I was slightly annoyed by the OCs at first. Now I can't wait to see them, they are just so full of life.
