Can someone explain me all this hate for Lucifer?

I remember when everyone were happy to see him again in season 11. Oh yeah, the writers ruined him (they ruined many other characters and many other things in SPN) and they made him a comic relief, but all this hate and bashing? WTF? I still love him and i still remember the REAL Lucifer: season 5 Lucifer.

I am a bit disappointed with the fandom.

There was an idea to bring together a group of remarkable people. To see if we could become something more. So when they needed us, we could fight the battles that they never could.
