Lord of the Rings is the best fantasy story I’ve ever read, period.

I used to HATE the movies, but then I went to a marathon of the extended editions (14 hours in a cinema sheesh) and grew to love them. I was the only one who cheered at ‘They’re taking the Hobbits to Isengard’ even though there was someone with that exact sentence printed on their shirt?? If people hadn’t started laughing right afterwards I would’ve been so embarrassed 💀
