i am fascinated by the idea of samurai!deadpool and oldman!logan being from the same universe

cowboys and samurais saw their ends at the same point in history, just on different ends of the world

i imagine the two of them finding each other as cowboys and samurais dwindle down to non-existent numbers, together being the basis of legends and ghost stories alike, and finding love in one another being the last of their own kind. the things they went through together, as dying breeds of a time when your survival depended on what was holstered to your hip and the person standing next to you…

and that hundreds of years later, separated for whatever reason by both time and multiverse, old man!logan is sitting patiently for wade to come home, knowing that the immortal samurai-turned-ronin that he met centuries ago would one day appear to him again in the mist that surrounds their cabin in the woods

honestly surpised nobodys written wade and logan smoking weed yet (at least that i've seen) because its VERY commonly used to treat chronic pain especially for people with cancer

and if we really want to get into the science the way that thc and cbd interact with the body is significantly different from alcohol (which i see a lot of ppl write about as something that doesnt effect them for long bc of healing factors) because it acts on the endocannabinoid system that already exist in the body opposed to alcohol which breaks down into toxins and effects the body that way

so if for whatever reason we care about ABSOLUTE realism, its still totally plausible for wade and logan to get stoned af because the high doesnt come from killing/poisoning cells like alcohol does
