So…. What if, for whatever reason, Fresh’s exterior more closely resembled his…. ‘real’ personality? The one where he’s not faking and drops the ‘90s persona’. What if, in the rare, EXTREMELY rare events, that Fresh gets mad…. his fake exterior gets dropped, and he’s just…. himself. No faking, nothing, just. Fresh. AND OF COURSE…. all his creepy as heck parasitic tentacle things just all comin out of him and whatnot. And the main parasite himself finally making an appearance.  I call it ‘TrueFresh’. Mostly because. I gotta tell the two apart. I was going to write something cooler here but *shrug* TAKE HIM GO ON. (My livestreamers pushed me to be direct about stuff involving Fresh so HERE YOU GO FINE TAKE IT I WONT ANSWER NOTHIN ABOUT ERROR SO THEN TAKE HIM INSTEAD)

I like to picture Undyne’s spears like glass: they hurt when they come in contact, yet they break easily when countered. This sort of makes visualizing Undyne’s fight easier for me, with the shield mechanic and all. After all, her spears are made of magic.

I'M SO SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG...i've been lost in the gamer zone, but also this has been one of the absolute hardest chapters to write so far, because i took a difficult structure (dives) and made it even more difficult by combining it with action!!! it took a lot of thought and tweaking to make it work, from a technical and conceptual standpoint.

the only constant throughout it all has been that song. Tenenbaum by the paper kites. it's one of the oldest "kiddo" songs and it completely drove me through this chapter and this art. call them radiant, call them mother's eyes...... don my clothing robes of ancient white..... like this is the song they share with az, just like Nothing Arrived by the Villagers is the song they share with frisk.

i hope it comes together for you readers like it SOMEHOW, IMPOSSIBLY, came together for me!!! these scenes were years in the making!!!
