One of my absolute favorite tropes is “We have taken the one you love most!” “Oh, have you? Good fukken luck lmao” *distant screams of kidnappers as loved one escapes* or the flipside: “We’ve kidnapped you!” “You are in so much trouble. You are in so much fucking trouble. You are in the most trouble ever, oh my god.” *DOOR EXPLODES INWARDS AS LOVED ONE ARRIVES* and the alternate: *vehicle pulls up, door opens, person is shoved out, door slams, vehicle screeches away* “Did you get kidnapped??” “For a minute yeah”

small appreciation post for collapsing while still conscious

ok as much as i love a good faint im also a huge sucker for when a character collapses but is still conscious, maybe just dizzy or weak

stumbling or tripping on something and falling to their knees, too weak to stand up again

weak from fever or low blood sugar and failing to get out of a chair, lying on their back or side while the dizziness subsides (i actually had a fic planned for this at one point)

slumping into a chair because they cant stand anymore

reaching out to a table or wall for support and sliding to the floor (!!!)

sitting on the floor already but they slump to the side out of exhaustion

that thing where they throw their arm across their eyes out of exhaustion or dizziness (honestly one of my favorites)

there are probably a lot more im missing rn so feel free to add on!!

also chatting with them in your head. scolding them when they’re acting secretive. seeing a new one rise from a random song and being like, ‘you. i like you. i’m gonna keep you.’

developing your ocs is 50% waiting for bursts of divine inspiration like an oracle sleeping next the vapours seeping from fissures in the temple floor and 50% stalking them in your mind relentlessly like a persistence predator until they tire out enough for you to get close and scamper away with the bloody scraps of "eye colour: brown" and "dislikes: people who think they're funny" clutched in your mouth like a hunting trophy

listen having a favourite character is just embarrassing sometimes. yeah that’s my specialest little blorbo. yeah I’ve read every word of their stuff. yeah I think about them 24/7. yeah I project all my issues onto them and write fanfiction about them and have multiple playlists dedicated to them. And I’m here on your dash to once again tell you that I am still thinking about them bc I thought you needed to know that. you can just shoot me now.

i miss my best friend :(( (i’m gonna see her in two days but two days is too long)

i also miss my girlfriend :(( (i have not seen her in several weeks and she has not texted me in a while either :C)
