Idk why Kaycee would ever do this, as from what I gathered she likes Leshy's version of the game best (i think?), but I wanted to draw grandpa's death card, and I felt likw her hand would look good holding it.

I brushed up on highschool eye biology just to try and figure wtf Bill might have done, but I only came up with theories for what he might have changed physically, which doesn't really answer the "isn't he bound to only influencing the brain?" question. The only one that would fit in that case is that Bill actually just fucked with Fords brain to TRICK him into thinking he's seeing a new colour, but that theory makes me sad :(

But this next theory is the personal headcanon I choose to have, wether it makes sense or not idk:

The front parts of our eyes naturally absorb UV rays before they can get to the back (where the whole "seeing" ordeal actually happens) because they would damage more irreplaceable cells, but that then means we can't see UVs! (I'm pretty sure we can't see them also because our cones, the cells that see colour, can't perceive them, but idk). What if Bill somehow sent a message to the cells of the cornea to tell them to die and absorb less(???) of the UVs, so that Ford could perceive some UV light, and that is what he dubbed "Fordtramarine"?

And Bill would only do that to one of Fords eyes, because he would know that it would slowly ruin the mans vision, and he needs the guy to have at least one eye to complete the portal! So that's why Fords eye would ache and bleed: not because Bill is posessing him, but because it's slowly degrading because he can see UVs, and by the time he flies through the portal, he can barely use it.

I like to then imagine that when he meets the Oracle, she interrogates him on his bleeding irritated eye, and when he talks about Fordtramarine, she breaks it to him that he's seeing some UVs, which are slowly destroying his eye (and that Fordtramarine has already been discovered and it's called "brown 2"). So not only would he get a metal plate in his head, but maybe a new eye (because his own is now way too damaged), which could have some perks and drawbacks.

And maybe that would kinda explain Bill's "Wow, two eyes? This thing's deluxe!" when he possesses Dipper in "Sock Opera".

This headcanon is built with flimsy cardboard and a lot of tape, but it was fun to think about haha

Have some very angsty angst + personal fanon

I love imagining that in the “Detlaff dies” ending, he leaves because he feels like he isn’t allowed to enjoy Geralt‘s company anymore because of what he’s done (and also the whole „shunned from vampire society“ thing), but he tries to rationalize it because it‘s too hard to admit it to himself and to Geralt. Geralt would initially respect his wishes, but just before Regis would leave, the vampire would let it slip that his stunt in Tesham Mutna is making it much harder for him to not relapse, and Geralt would decide to tag along to keep an eye on him.

I had a random idea of Kaycee using the dagger, and then my thoughts spiralled

Maybe an earlier version of Inscryption allowed the player to use the dagger more often, and Kaycee took advantage of it as often as possible, even though she should have fixed the mechanic as soon as she noticed. She's forced to do it when Leshy gets fed up with it and retaliates.

If she could she'd jump him and find the missing eyeballs, but she's not literally in the game (yet), so her movement is very limited. Leshy couldn't just delete the eyeballs, so he stuffed them in his mouth and is storing them in his cheeks like a squirrel (so imagine him in the comic as if he's speaking with his mouth full).
