Eclipse rubbed the back of her head she was nervous but knew she had to say something

“ well….the greed ring is a place I avoid whenever possible I….was forced to work for a greedy Megalomaniac for a while until I was rescued by my father , this demon was cruel selfish and abusive I’m just glad his son got away most who piss him off end up dead…”

she still had nightmares about the “trophy “wall and the routine lake trips, too many innocent lives taken just for him to have control .

“ let’s just say I’m not a fan of abusers or poachers…those kind of monsters belong here every single one of them.”

she snarled remembering when she lost her family and witnessing abuse not being able to do anything.

Eclipse was walking when she heard guitar and a southern voice she followed it , upon finding the source she froze .

“ he’s…he’s real? “

she backed away to avoid the dangerous assassin having heard of his legacy , suddenly she steps on a branch.

Striker was just idly strumming his guitar rythmically, occasionally mixing in lyrics as he tried to just run his thoughts out through music, kinda caught up in it, but upon hearing the telltale sound of a branch snapping under someone's foot, his tail rattled as he pulled his guitar aside and grabbed his revolver, quickly catching the Hellhound in his sights as he rose a brow, she certainly didn't look like anyone involved with any of his enemies.

He stood up from the bench while keeping his gun trained on her, still holding his guitar in his other hand "Mind telling me what yer doing sneaking about? Not many good reasons to be doing that." Striker noted, gesturing with his fire arm a bit, before he breathed out.

"Mind you, I won't hurt ya unless ya make me." He pointed out, a tired weight to his eyes. not wanting to pick a fight unless she meant harm.

“Oh that sounds great thanks, seems like everyone is enjoying the ball so far “

sometime later couples danced eclipse enjoyed seeing them and eventually got lucky and had a shark demon ask her to dance eclipse accepted . Sometime later they went outside and chatted for a while .

“ you seem really nice Rusty maybe we can get to know each other and hang out sometime “

Rusty smiled at her and offered to pick a spot for the meteor shower taking advantage of them being alone once he had her far enough away he pricked her with a sleeping needle .

“ oooh…I feel dizzy……Rusty? Can we sit for a…..”

before she could finish her sentence everything went black the next thing she knew she woke up in an abandoned mill in the wrath ring.

“So uh…would you know anything about hybrids? Specifically demon and cherub ones?”

She hoped to get some answers nobody but her adoptive father knew her secret well….the poacher also know someone she hoped to never see again .

The owl prince smiles up at her. He had read about cherub and hellhound hybrids but he had never seen one before. “I’ve read many books on them. What are you interested in knowing? By the way, I’m Stolas!” He extending his talon. “What is your name?”

Eclipse always wondered what it was like on the surface having gotten a crystal of her own to get around quicker but mainly was told to use it as an emergency as for the surface her father warned her not to go there since it was dangerous. Eclipse heard the chime of a clock and noticed that it was near dinner time.

“ oh , it’s five already? I need to head back home. thanks for helping me out I will see you at the Crystal ball in a few weeks .”

Eclipse was surprised by who he was dating for she had met him and Moxxie before and hadn’t quiet yet told them her Royal status for safety reasons since they both had dealt with crimson since her and father had to meet up with yearly to pay him as part of the deal , the poacher never told him she was a hybrid knowing he wouldn’t buy her and lied saying she was a pure bred .

“ wow what a coincidence, I’ve actually met him twice and Moxxie they’re both really nice . Blitz is energetic mentioned how the o in his name is silent in the commercial and in person , I’m surprised he’s able to get to the surface without getting in trouble it can’t be safe but it seems like he knows what he’s doing.” Eclipse wondered how the law wasn’t after him since interference with the humans was dangerous and forbidden, not to mention if any kills ended up in hell swearing revenge .

Eclipse was born during a lunar eclipse and got her name from it. “ thank you , I’ve been good adjusting pretty well I really like the theme. I was the first born during a lunar eclipse and that’s how I got my name.”

Eclipse didn’t remember much from her childhood most of it was mentally blocked from trauma she hoped to get answers one day and make sure the poacher was punished and no other hounds or any creature was put into that horrible situation.

eclipse went back to her father’s side as the deal was finalized she could’t wait to leave the tension was high .

crimson raised a brow he didn’t like waiting he let her go out on her own but was reconsidering noticing her changed demeanor she wasn’t usually THIS quiet and she usually came back sooner something was up he knew it.

“ sorry sir…..time just got away from me it’s a nice night I was enjoying the night sky .

crimson stared at her for a moment before rolling his eyes and sending them off eclipse let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding once she went through the door .

“ something happened …..she’s hiding something I recognize that nervous behavior if she crosses me….the deal is over and she and the rest of those royals are dead.”

She walked by when she picked up on a familiar yet unfamiliar scent , she noticed a blood covered dagger and gave it a small lick her eyes widen.

“ this blood tastes …amazing …” she grinned “ what is it?

Blitz blinked, raising an eyebrow - a little weirded out by someone just walking over and licking his knife. He did it too sometimes, but that was a little different from a stranger doing it.

"It's human blood, why?"
