"Precisely," Five nodded, immediately grateful that Ben really seemed to get what he was saying, "You've got it all." Maybe part of what had been weighing on him was the fact that he was going to have to tell someone about this and hope they believe him. He wasn't even sure his siblings would buy into it, despite the fact that Five was the last person to joke about this sort of thing. He might have been a bit too serious, with more snark than the rest of them, but surely even they wouldn't think this a joke.

"That's the thing - I don't know," he stepped closer to Ben once more, setting the half empty cup on a surface as he passed it, not paying much mind to what the surface even was, "I only know what I could gather from what I found in the rubble. And what I found were - "he paused, picturing that first day so clearly in his mind, finding the dead bodies of his family still fresh from whatever happened. He went on with a slightly hardened tone, pushing the memory away, " - what I found was enough to tell me that what happened between my father's death and Volcano Day may be my only reliable window to stop whatever is happening. There's one thing you have to understand about the Umbrella Academy. We might have been a team... But we didn't always exactly get along. And... That day, after the end of the world... There was no way to tell that they could even stop what was happening, but he knew they had to try. Maybe that was the innate hero complex that had been basically beaten into him ringing out, maybe he just didn't want the world to end. But, most importantly he didn't want to lose the only family he had. Even if he would never really admit that out loud.

Five just shakes his head, "The only thing I could tell from here is that, maybe, there's some way we could figure out if it's something more planned out than just a sudden end. Perhaps there's something that could be found by digging a bit. It's highly unlikely, but I'm stuck here until I can figure out how to get to 2019."

i have 2 moods: nothing matters and everything matters too much

So I was talking with a friend about how Zen would get one of these badly translated Shirts with english text and I went a little overboard. I think they are great but Zen would probably only choose the last one since…yeah. (Mondatta would be rolling in his grave if he saw him in the first ones haha)

Feeling better little by little 👌 I plan to get some writing done soon, just as soon as I get the energy for it. 🥺
