So what I had in mind is Momo finding the cat (or kitten in this case) in the alleyways of the Slums very afraid and mewing. He takes them back to his apartment and adopts them.

When the kitty finds B 12 (somehow) I think they would be equipped with a GPS  since B 12 is too big. 

Also every time they mew, all bots in the vicinity pop-up hearts

Honestly I agree with this. It makes sense, Leon isnt trying to be an asshole to Claire or anyone he is trying to protect them from the Government will do if gets out.

I feel like most people completely missed the ending of Infinite Darkness- Leon doesn’t refuse to give Claire the chip because he’s an asshole siding with the government, he’s trying to protect her. That was one of the subtle themes in this show. They had the “when are you going to stop treating me like a kid” “don’t do anything stupid” exchange at the beginning of this series. Leon literally gives a whole speech to Jason about how you “can’t save a country if you don’t give a damn about the people in it” referring to what they did to Raccoon City… of course he’s not going to side with the government- the same government that threatened him into joining them let’s not forget. Leon tells Shenmei that the government will go after her if she released the information on the chip, that applies to Claire too. He’s not trying to be a dick or cover things up, he’s trying to protect Claire because he knows all too well how far the government is willing to go to save their own asses.  

Also, the story was left open-ended. It’s a series, and we don’t know if there’s a s2 happening yet. We are getting a tie-in comic series starting next month, so there’s more to the story here. Keep in mind we don’t know what Leon did with the chip. He could’ve given it to someone else to leak for all we know.
